The stage (living room) lights up, as CARMELA runs up from behind her two friends, HOPE and LILA, carrying several books and binders and loose papers.
CARMELA: Sorry guys, I'm just... Just a little tired.
HOPE: Well, maybe if you had done our homework on time, you wouldn't be so tired.
LILA: Oh, come on. That's not very nice. Cookie?
From seemingly nowhere, LILA pulls out a cookie.
CARMELA: Hey, thanks! I needed that.
HOPE: Hey, I want a cookie too.
LILA: Ok, sure!
LILA transfigures another hair tie from her wrist into a cookie, HOPE gasps in awe, CARMELA nods thoughtfully. RUBY comes into sight, holding a large plate.
RUBY: Hey, does anyone want a cookie? I made them special! With gummy worms!
CARMELA: Are they fresh?
RUBY's face lights up.
RUBY: Yes! They just came out of the oven 10 minutes ago! The house elves helped me!
CARMELA: Did you bake in the gummy worms?
RUBY: Yeah!
CARMELA: Then no! And none of my friends will, either!
CARMELA adds this last part as she slaps away the hands of LILA and HOPE.
CARMELA: When sugar is heated for a prolonged amount of time, it gets very hot and it can hurt people and cause permanent damage in the form of a burn!
HOPE: Ok, what? I have absolutely no clue what you just said.
CARMELA: HOT SUGAR BURNS YOU!!! And also, we just had some cookies.
HOPE: But I just want anothe- OH CRAP!
Hope looks at her watch, and the hand is on 'Quidditch'.
HOPE: I've gotta go. I've got-
CARMELA, LILA, HOPE: Quidditch practice.
The girls laugh together, while all three walk off. HOPE runs the opposite way as CARMELA and LILA.
CARMELA: No.
CARMELA pulls LILA away from the plate of cookies, which she was reaching for. Lights cut out as RUBY tries to run with LILA and CARMELA.
