Unfortunately, the following day is a monday, and Aizawa decides that Hitoshi should go back to school. After fussing over his uniform (it was creased from being stuffed in the bag, so Aizawa decided to iron it in frustration), Aizawa walks to school with Hitoshi and Yamada so he knows the way to and from school from his new home. However, they left later than intended, and the trains were delayed, so all three are almost late for school.
Yamada runs the rest of the way there from the train station, dragging Hitoshi along as he insists that he can't be late. Aizawa just walks. He still has 10 minutes until the first bell and he can get there in time.
Hitoshi stands outside the door of his class, trying to ignore the nauseous feeling in his chest. He hasn't been at school for almost an entire week, and hasn't been outside the apartment for a while. So this sudden change from being around a few people to lots of people made him nervous. He feels like he forgot how to be around people without falling apart.
The bruises on his face have faded, and all that's left from that night is the trace of the cut on his forehead. Its possible that it might scar.
"It's the same people. It's ok" Hitoshi mumbles to himself, and takes a deep breath before sliding the door open. As he steps in, he rubs the back of his neck keeping his eyes to the floor. Even though he can't see them, he feels everyone look over at him.
"Shinsou, you're back!"
"Are you feeling better? You missed most of last week!"
"That's a nasty cut. What happened?"
Hitoshi wasn't expecting them to care about him being missing from school. He glances up at them, then continues rubbing at his neck, "I wasn't feeling well...I'm okay now"
"It's great to have you back!"
He makes his way over to his desk and sits down. Ever since the sports festival, the other students in the class treated him differently. Before, they seemed to forget he was there, like they couldn't see him. Now, they treat him just like everyone else.
The day flies by, and lunchtime quickly begins. Hitoshi packs his stuff away biting the inside of his lip. Just the thought of going to the busy canteen fuels the butterflies in his stomach. He decides to try and see if one of his new dads would let him stay with them until lessons start again. If not, he will just go back to the old spot he used to sit at.
Heading down the corridor, Hitoshi looks out for the classroom marked 1A. He's noticed before that Aizawa doesn't always go to the teachers lounge at lunch, and sometimes stays in his own class until lessons begin. So there's a possibility that he's there. If not, Hitoshi decides to head to the teachers lounge to find him or Yamada.
Eventually he finds class 1A, and knocks on the door. He waits for a reply, but he doesn't get one. He slides the door open, and sees Aizawa asleep in his yellow sleeping bag under the desk. Deciding not to wake him, Hitoshi walks back out and heads to his second option.
He knocks on the door, and Midnight answers, "Hello young man. What can I do for you"
"Is Ya-" He stops himself, "Mic-Sensei here?"
She raises an eyebrow, then turns to her left "Mic, a student is here for you"
Yamada quickly makes his way over, then grins seeing him. "Oh hey! Hitoshi! What can I do for you?" He asks, letting the name slip out of habit. Hitoshi blushes slightly, noticing a few teachers look over when he's referred to by his first name.
"Um...nevermind. Sorry" He mumbles backing out, now feeling awkward.
"Huh? Whats wrong?" Yamada asks, then steps out the room with him.
"Sorry...it's been a while since I've been in a place with lot's of people. I'm not that great in crowded spaces...but being mostly isolated for the last week makes it worse. I went to Aizawa to see if I could spend lunch in his classroom , but he was asleep and I didn't want to bother him" He sighs, "I feel awkward in a room full of teachers too. I have a spot I used to eat lunch at...I'll go there inste-"
"Aww come on! They won't mind you being in there! Besides, why would you wanna be alone?" Yamada dramatically puts his hands on his hips leaning forwards.
Hitoshi pauses, then asks quietly "Do they know?"
"They know we adopted a kid, but not who it is. Is that why you don't want to...?"
"Kind of"
"They won't care! Come on, I'll introduce you!" Without waiting for the reply, Yamada puts an arm around him and leads him into the room. He clears his throat and grins, "Remember when I told you that me and Shouta adopted a kid?"
"Yeah?" Midnight asks looking confused, and glances down at Hitoshi. He notices a few teachers ignoring them, but most have already looked over.
"Well, taadaahh!" He gestures to his son grinning wider, "meet the newest member of our family, Hitoshi!"
The teenager goes a darker shade of red, now deciding that the floor is very interesting to look at. He doesn't like the sudden attention. His stomach seems to twist into itself as silence briefly falls throughout the room.
Suddenly, Midnight makes a noise that sounds like a squeal and walks over "How delightful! This is the boy that Shouta was training, right?" Yamada nods, and she claps her hands together laughing, "He can be soft when he wants to be" Hitoshi feels her look at him for a few seconds, before she gasps, "woah Hizashi, he even looks like young Shouta doesn't he? How strange is that?"
"That's what I've been saying" Yamada laughs, "Shouta hates it when I say it, but I suspect he secretly likes it"
Midnight laughs as a response, and Hitoshi awkwardly stands there, silently regretting this decision.

After school, Aizawa decides to do another test run if the exam for their training. He let's Yamada join so Hitoshi can have an added challenge, and someone new to work against. They don't tell Yamada about the Artificial vocal chords, both deciding that it would be better to have a blind run. It would be the same as when he takes the exam, as his opponents won't know about it before hand.
They use a small section of the training ground, with a cage in the middle for Hitoshi to put the people he captures in. The two pro heroes go in first to get ready on their side, and then Hitoshi enters. He waits until the time starts, before running.
Hitoshi hides out inside a building, waiting for the heros go get closer. He decides to go for Yamada first, and he will be the easier one to trick. The makeshift city is quiet as he waits, but he stays hidden while checking out the window for his target. Soon, the sound of boots on the pathway catch his attention, and he spots Yamada walking around nearby.
Hitoshi checks around for Aizawa, before climbing out a side window into an alleyway.
"Hizashi, is he over there?" He calls out, using Aizawa's voice.
None of the wiser, Yamada sighs "No. This place is bi-"
As Hitoshi's quirk takes affect, the hero goes still, allowing him to walk over and tie his scarf around him. He starts to quickly lead him towards the direction of the cage, knowing Aizawa is nearby. He tries to stay out of the open, but eventually Aizawa finds him uses his quirk to cancel out Hitoshi's, and Yamada shakes his head as he regains control over his body. "Woah, what happened?!"
Hitoshi loosens the scarf, and runs off before he can catch him, or Yamda could use his quirk.
"Shou" Yamada turns to Aizawa with a wide grin, as he runs over "Our son is amazing!"
There is only about 5 minutes left. He would have to outsmart them this time.
Hitoshi follows the two pro heroes from the rooftops, making sure they don't notice him. He bites his lip anxiously as he notices that they started to communicate using sign language, so it will be harder for him to get a verbal reply, or for him to trick them. There's a small possibility that he could trick them into replying. Mic is smart and has a powerful quirk, but Hitoshi has noticed that he's not always that observant, and could possibly be tricked easier than the other hero.
Eraserhead, Hitoshi has learnt from their training, is less likely to fall for a trick than Mic. He also has an advantage, as he has a good understanding of Hitoshi's quirk and how he uses it. However, there is a possibility that he could let his guard down for Mic. So Yamada should be his first target.
Using his scarf to lower himself into an alleyway just ahead of them, he kicks a bin over before climbing back up out of sight. He watches the two pause, before Yamada slowly and cautiously goes to investigate.
Hitoshi lowers himself down the wall behind him, mimicking Aizawa's voice again, "Zashi, watch out!"
Yamada spins around to look at 'Aizawa', as Hitoshi pulls himself back up out of sight. "Where-?" He accidentally lets it slip, and goes rigid as the quirk once again takes control over him.
"Put your hand over your mouth, and walk back out the alleyway"
Obeying the command, Yamada slowly walks back out the way he came and stops when he's back on the path. Aizawa, glancing around the area, signs to him, "Did you find anything?"
"Shake your head" Hitoshi says, hiding just behind the wall so Aizawa can't see him.
He shakes his head, and Hitoshi takes a risk by shifting his voice to mimic Yamada's, "I think he's moved, Shouta. I couldn't find anything"
Aizawa turns to him, momentarily letting his guard down "We have to kee-"
The other hero goes still as the quirk takes him over. Hitoshi walks over, and uses the scarf to tie them both up before walking them towards the cage. Ignoring the growing headache, Hitoshi leads them in and shuts the door, before turning off his quirk.
The two blink a few times as they come to, and then Yamada grins at him, "wow you're so amazing! I can't belive you tricked me like that!"
"That was a smart move. You outsmarted us in the last few minutes, and caught me when I let my guard down. I'm certain that you'll perform well in the exam" Aizawa smiles, "Now, can you untie us?"
"Yes, sorry" Hitoshi smiles, opening the door and untangling the scarf from around them, "thank you"
Yamada ruffles his hair, still grinning "That mask of yours is so cool. It sounded like Shouta was really talking to me"
"I had enough time before and during the exercise to store your voice. You had an advantage over me since you both know sign language, but once I managed to trick you I knew I still had a chance. So I took a risk. I was surprised you fell for it, Aizawa"
"false habit" He replies. Hitoshi isn't entirely sure that he believes that, but he also doesn't believe that Aizawa would take it easy on him.
"I think I need to work on my quirk. I only used it on you both for a minute or two and I'm getting a headache"
"Alright, I'll see what I can do. Now lets go home"
