"glad you got your grades together, yoon. i was starting to feel lonely without you home," hoseok smiled as he brushed his fingers through yoongi's thin hair.

it was wednesday and yoongi managed to drive hoseok home.

yoongi's heart was beating harshly and his sweat glands were working hard. his breathing started to go at a rapid rate and he felt his tears finally falling down his red face.

yoongi quickly gave hoseok a tight hug. hoseok didn't question it and instead, stayed silent so yoongi could let it all out.

"i don't want to ever lose you," yoongi started. "i can feel it."

"feel what?"

"i can feel the emptiness of this house when i open the door. i can feel how different the air is in here rather than outside. outside, i'm more free."

"why?" hoseok questioned, tears threatening to fall.

"the air feels too thick here. as if i'm suffocating and i can't do anything about it."

"is that why you're not here a lot?"

"no. no matter how much it hurts, i don't ever want to leave you."
