After purchasing the tickets for Blaze's show, Aly ran to me and jumped up and down, waving them in my face.

"Look! The design is so awesome!" She yelped in delight. The ticket was entirely black with the details of the concert printed in neon purple. A dashing face-Blaze-had his tongue stuck out and was sort of licking an invisible mirror. He was printed in light grey.

"What a fine array of colours." I said, sarcasm licking from my tongue. But I gotta admit it did look good. I just wanted to play around with Aly.

She gave the perfect pout that she had perfected over the many years of high school. I could still remember her looking up on Google on "How to pout attractively". She analysed all of the females she thought looked good and imitated them in front of the dresser for a few entire days. She was obsessed with Candice Swanepoel's pout.

I burst out laughing. "Aw. Aly. Yeah. I'm convinced. The tickets look good. And thank you for helping me pay." I bowed. "The Art Club should really learn from the company."

"Yay thanks!" She said dreamily. "So?" She batted her eyelashes. "Are you crushing on Blaze already?"

"Um no." I was still holding onto my injured arm.

"Oh yeah. I just forgotten that you stepped into a certain... Boy's room yesterday." I could feel the inner blush creeping out which made me want to protest more, however when I opened my mouth, she continued, "I'll take that excuse for you not loving Blaze. Because he's the best!"

My mouth was still open but I've got nothing to defend myself with and I dropped the idea of talking back. And because I didn't want to comment on me and Jayden. Me myself had no idea about what was exactly happening between us.

Just as we were indirectly speaking about Jayden, I could see the gang of three muscular male sprinting towards us from the side of my eye. Such a coincidence.

Jackson exclaimed, "So girl you were having a catfight huh?" Jackson was of the same height as Jayden. They were both five-foot-nine. His skin was olive-toned with curly hair of the deepest brown. He was of medium built.

I turned my torso to face them. I stood up slowly. Well, my arm was still hurting. I guessed I need some first aid.

Looking back at me were those cool eyes again. He wasn't scared or embarrassed of anything. Jayden walked towards me and circled my waist using his arms. Beside me, Aly gasped.

That was followed by another when James slung his arm around Aly's shoulder. I began to giggle.

"Stop that." She responded instantaneously. "By the way, why are you guys here?"

"Someone is here to see someone." Jackson smirked, looking from Jayden to me. He wiggled his eyebrows. "Listen. We're not stupid. We heard about the fight. But who cares anyway? I don't care about those girls. It's only their job to cheer for us... What do you guys think?" He asked James and Jayden.

"Erm you make it sound so serious." James paused. "I don't care. Yeah."

Jayden wasn't listening and held my arm up. He was examining it. He took Biology and I didn't. His parents were also doctors. "Do you learn about wounds in Bio?" I asked him.

"Nah. Biology's unlike Medicine. There's a huge difference." He grinned, his dimples showing. My stomach melted but I refused to admit it. "But I'm gonna do Medicine in college. And I've got background knowledge on wounds. My mom taught me." He looked like he was reminiscing in old fond memories. Nice.

"You've indeed got yourself a fracture. That Madison girl is so wild." He shook his head, showing his unhappiness towards her.

"Yeah she is!" Aly suddenly blurted out and shrugged off James' arm on her shoulder.

"And she called me a potato for God's sake." Elephant was doing those weird motions with her arms where she would wave forward frantically to others when she was excited or desperate for attention.

I laughed. But I was still angry at Madison for calling her that way.

"You, a potato? LMAO." Jackson said. "That Madison girl sure is beautiful. But a little evil. I didn't know what happened that day. It was an accident, totally. I woke up with her in my apartment one day. She baked burnt pancakes for me and then ran off. Like what the hell was that?"

Aly replied, "How can you guys not know and think of these kind of stuffs are accidents? Doing this involves an algorithm of steps. It's not that simple lol. You do lots of things. You texted her, you got drinks with her at a bar, she went to your apartment. She lay down on your bed, made ou-"

Jackson cut her off. "Girl you seem to have the experience, speaking like that..." Aly's face reddened. That was the reason why I always felt that silence was the best solution.

"I don't." Alysia defended herself.

"Would you like me to enlighten you then?" James smiled slyly.

"No thanks but thank you!" Alysia said, her brows turning up. "I was just trying to illustrate my point."

"Ouch." I yelped in pain as Jayden continued moving his hand down my arm.

"Guys, stop talking nonsense here. Let's bring Belle to the General Office." He interrupted the conversation.

"Yeah man. Do what you gotta do. Protect your girl!" Jackson screamed.

Aly started to cackle. "You guys are so funny!"

"Of course. You should have realised it earlier and be our first." James licked his lips.

"Ugh. There's a fine line between being funny and irritating." Aly cried.

We started ambling to the General Office.

The school's nurse had a grandmotherly air and ran ahead of us to assist in opening the door. She looked upset looking at my arm. "Who did this to you or did you fall?"

"I fell when someone pushed me down. But it's alright." I didn't want the school to be involved with my personal matters. I was afraid that one of the guys would chip in and tell on Madison. But none of them did. They knew their boundaries.

"Okay. How does your hand feel currently?"

"Painful." I clamped my lips together. The pain was intensifying.

"Ma'am, it's a fracture." Jayden said gently, holding onto my hand.

The nurse, whose name is Miss Clement, started treating me. She tied an arm sling to support my fracture. After that, she asked whether I wanted to lie down for a while. The four other pairs of eyes, which looked at me, had hints of laughter in them. I did not look the kind to ditch class because of a small injury. I said no. I thanked the nurse before we left the place.

"When's the concert again?" I tapped on Aly's shoulder and asked her.

"Tomorrow night." Her eyes brightened.

"Yuck. I don't want to look like this." I pointed at the arm sling.

"And now you're caring about how you will look in front of Blaze." She stuck her tongue out.

"I just do not want to look like an alien." I rebutted.

Alysia shrugged. The boys were walking behind, quickly lagging behind. They were talking among themselves and I suspected that they were talking about the girls for tonight's party. They partied almost every night. Jayden only did not party on the day before examinations. He believed that it was important to socialise so as to have fans during his games. But he still returned to the dorm alone before 1AM.

They ran forward to catch up with us and James asked, "Would you guys want to join us tonight? We're going to the basketball court near the modern drive-in theatre about one km from Meridian." Not party tonight then. But sports, perhaps.

"How are y'all getting there and what do you want to do?" I asked.

Jackson scratched the side of his jaw repeatedly and answered, "We are taking my car."

Jackson's car was a blue Ford SVT raptor. It was easily recognised in the campus carpark where people walked through it everyday.

"We're playing with fireball." James clapped his hands and his eyes widened.

Fireball?

Alysia looked at me, undecided, and I looked at Jackson and said "Fine".
