Tyrone's POV
The bushes hid me as I rested. Despite my heavy panting, I managed to keep my breathing silent. As I touched the flesh of my arm, I winced, gasping in pain. I sucked at the open wound, basically drinking the blood. Tears dripped from my eyes, an over-whelming sense of pessimism washing over me, like a tsunami demolishing a city without mercy. At this point, I had completely broken down, only barely managing to keep myself quiet. Waiting was probably the smartest plan. If I wait until dawn, I would be able to see where I'm going. However, I'm not patient enough to wait that long. From what I could tell, it was probably just past 12am. My sobs felt raspy. You know that feeling you get when your voice becomes croaky randomly, that's what it felt like. A chilling breeze brushed on my skin, sending shivers through my body. My impatient nature got the better of me as I stood up and crept around warily. In the distance, I heard that ghastly screech, freezing me in my tracks. Paralysed, I couldn't bring myself to move. Eventually, my muscles relaxed and my legs could shuffle, which was the best I could get in my weak state. Unfortunately, I seemed to have moved at the wrong time. The creature had spotted me. It sulked towards me, obviously seeing me move. It had scarred, stone grey skin like a gargoyle, but far more frightening. It's rows teeth were disorganised and it's mouth, claws, eyes and random patches were splattered with a sombre red, obviously blood. Some parts looked relatively fresh. It looked starved, it's ribs, spine and other parts of the skeleton and, even, organs were defined. How was that creature still alive?! It had only a few strands of snowy hair, which you think would look silly, but actually managed to make it all the scarier. It's eyes... I don't even want to discuss them. They were black and apathetic. The creature begun shrieking as it clawed at me. Just about dodging, I whined in pain from the sudden and large movement. My body was in no condition to move like this. My legs wouldn't move anymore, they were just too tired. The creature bit hard into my flesh as it tore apart my flesh. Adrenaline gave me the energy to shove it off, it's teeth scraping through my flesh, making a sickening sound. Immediately after getting free from its grasp, I shot away, hiding in the bush again. I prayed to GOD it wouldn't find me. I whimpered, bracing myself for any sort of attack. Luckily, it never came. Sighing with relief, I inspected the bite, finding that it was basically just an enormous amount of tears. Blood dripped from my shaking arm; making me feel sick to my stomache. Feeling dizzy, I lay down. At this point, I could hardly keep my eyes open. The soft dripping from my arm put me to sleep. Everything faded away.
