It was a dark and stormy night.

Everyone else was asleep. Except for my prey. 

Getting closer, I kept quiet, careful not to alert it to my presence. Getting closer, closer, lunge!

It saw me! 

Just a second too late, but it was wounded. It limped away, taunting me, daring me to catch it. I took the challenge and lunged, it was in my grasp, now for some fun.

I threw it in the air, it's screams were music to my ears, I ran around, tearing at it, it was almost dead. Sad, really, to ruin my plaything so early, but this needed to happen. The infestation must be eradicated. 

Finally done. 

The body was almost unrecognizable, but it must be given to my master, as proof of my work. Leaving it where they would find it, I went back to my bed, and drifted away into sleep.
