THE PAPER covered face of the woman in the film smirked as her purple eyes shone through the paper.
Chloe suddenly felt a wave of rage consume her thoughts. All of this crazy mess started with the evil woman, all of this started when the nightmares came. This was all because of her.
Chloe gritted her teeth, "YOU did this! YOU hurt my family!"
The woman only chuckled, her bony fingers held onto Dream Chloe's shoulder.
"I'm so proud of you. You have done so well, Chloe."
"Me? No! You must have made me do this! I wouldn't hurt my family!" Chloe protested.
The woman picked a droopy petal off of a wilted sunflower and smirked, "Oh Chloe! Sweet sweet Chloe. I didn't do this. This was all you," she leaned in close to Chloe's ear, "I only helped you realize who you really are."
"Who are you?!" Chloe cried out, "Why are you doing this to me?"
"You already know me, Chloe," her voice was distorted like an old radio.
The woman began to fade away, floating towards the white sun. Her chilling voice sang, "Hush, little baby, don't say a word. Mommy's gonna buy you a Mockingbird," as her greasy hair flew up into the air like kindling fire, dancing around from side to side.
Chloe balled her fist and swung at the woman, but it was too late. . . she had vanished. An image of her paper-covered face consumed Chloe's thoughts before morning.
