Chapter Three

As Mineta went off for a walk, the sun began to set. As the shadows deepened, the sky darkened as rain began to fall. It was common knowledge that weaker Villains preferred to work at night when most Heroes were asleep, and tonight was no different. A young woman was walking down the street, tried from the days work. "Damn, sometimes I really need a break from those little brats. But hey, beats digging ditches." She mumbled to herself, not noticing the individual stalking her from the rooftops. She down into an alleyway, a shortcut she took regularly.

Halfway through, however, she was suddenly forced to the ground by the one that been following her. The Villain laughed, looking like a gorilla dressed only in a green cape and loincloth. He pounded his chest while laughing, a cruel grin across his face. "Hello pretty woman, I am the mighty Ape-Pecs!" He said as he flexed his muscles, especially his pectorals. The woman, terrified had pulled out her wallet and held it out to the villain. "P-please just take the money!"

Ape-Pecs's laughter grew louder, before turning back to the woman underneath him. "Oh silly pretty lady, I don't want your green paper. I just want some entertainment, for you see I've been feeling more pent up from stress lately..." The villain paused, his smile growing more lecherous. "...and you looked like the perfect solution!" He yelled as he grabbed the woman's shirt, tearing it off violently. The woman cried out, tears flowing from her face. "Help, please! Someone save me!" She screaming, failing to crawl away from the gorilla man on top of her as he began to pull down her skirt.

Suddenly, the distant sound of wet footsteps echoed through the alley. Eventually, a tall silhouette could be seen in the darkness. "Who the hell's there?! Who is stupid enough to interrupt the mighty Ape-Pecs?!" the villain screamed, clearly pissed off at the sudden interruption. Nothing, the individual said nothing. All that could be heard was their deep, heavy breathing. "Come out and face me!" Ape-Pecs yelled, his anger rising. But as soon as the villain said that, his expression paled in terror. What he saw slowly come out of the shadows definitely wasn't a hero, it wasn't even a person.

Standing over seven feet tall, this...creature growled lowly at Ape-Pecs. As it walked towards the villain it dragged its right hand slowly along the stone walls of the alley, it's long sickle-like claws creating a painful screeching sound as it did. It ran its long red tongue across it's many blood stained, needle-like teeth. It's thin body was almost skeletal, if not for the thick mass of muscles that rippled beneath its ebony skin, the fibres shifting constantly with every movement. It's ebony skin was covered in large, pale scars. It had no eyes or head, just a pale greyish brain. It wore beige shorts that were shredded below the knees and a old thin, patched up hoodie that was too small for its body.

"Holy sh*t." Ape-Pecs said, completely frozen in fear. The woman below Ape-Pecs hadn't said a single word, completely paralyzed with terror of the thing in front of her. The creature then let out a a loud, shrill screech that knocked Ape-Pecs onto the ground, while also bursting both the villains and the woman's eardrums along with shattering a few windows above them. Ape-Pecs, still grabbing his bleeding ears scrambled away from the monster. The large creature then charged towards the terrified villain, running on all fours. As the creature lunged towards the villain, Ape-Pecs screamed.

"Oh god...A-AAAAAAGHH!!!" The creature began to maul the helpless villain, slashing deeply into his chest and tearing into his back. It sunk its teeth deep into his neck, tearing off a small chunk of flesh. It clawed at Ape-Pecs's eyes and mutilating his face, sending crimson ribbons of blood flying into the air. It eventually stopped, standing up from what remained of the villain. His body was unrecognizable, blood flowing like rivers out of the many deep wounds. He was barely breathing, slowly dying from his wounds.

The dark abomination turned back towards the woman, who had witnessed the entire gore fest that had occurred. The creature took a step forward, the woman lifting her arms in fear of being attacked. The creature seemed to stare at her, even though lacking any eyes. It then grasped its brain, bending over a whimpering and shaking. Then it turned its head to the sky and let out another screech, shattering more glass windows before jumping upon to the rooftops and into the night.

A moment passed before the woman quickly crawled to her purse, pulling out her phone. She dialled and waited for the line to pick up, looking frantic and panicked. "Hello? Please send an ambulance I'm at 227 Shino Drive, next too the Ingenium building. Please a man is dying, he doesn't have much time. There's been an Nomu attack."

The next day, class 1-A was gets ready for the day. Kirishima was on the couch, drying his hair after his morning shower. Sero was making eggs and bacon for everyone while Kaminari was brewing some coffee, everyone else was talking or struggling to stay awake until Iida burst into the room with Uraraka looking frantic and somewhat freaking out. Uraraka screamed "Quick, turn on the news!" Kirishima was both startled and confused, as was everyone else. "Whoa okay, what are you talking about?" Sero asked, currently cooking the fifth plate of bacon he had that morning.

"There's no time to explain!" Iida said loudly before using quirk to dash towards the couch, leaping for the T.V. remote while barely missing Kirishima. "Bro, what the heck?!" Kirishima yelled, annoyed and confused. "My sincerest apologies, but this is urgent!" Iida said, turning to the T.V., his left arm chopping towards it. He switched to a news channel, a reporter was interviewing a woman wrapped in a emergency blanket. "-an you please explain what had happened to you in detail ma'am?" The woman was visibly shaken, but slowly nodded. "I-I was returning home from work at the daycare, and I took the shortcut I usually take to get to my apartment. But as I was half way there, a villain jumped down and attacked me. He pinned me down, yelling and saying his name was Apex or something. He was saying he was stressed out and that I was gonna be his "relief", right before he started ripping off my clothes. I don't think he was right in his mind, maybe he was on something I dunno. But I fought as hard as I could, but before he could do anything...It appeared." She said as her voice grew shaky, her eyes squeezed shut. The reporter looked confused to the camera before turning back to the woman. "I'm sorry, "It" ma'am?" She asked, hesitant about the woman's answer. "It came out the shadows of the alley, like a f*cking horror movie. It was huge, it's teeth were stained in blood. That...that thing, attacked the villain by letting out a sonic scream, it made my ears bleed and shattered a few windows. It then charged Apex, and it....it was so horrible."

The woman covered her eyes, whimpering quietly at the memories. She inhaled deeply before continuing, her voice shaking. "T-there was...so much...blood. It mauled him, like a wild animal. I...I still remember his screaming. It felt like an eternity before it finally stopped, I thought he died. Then it started to stare at me, even though it didn't have any eyes." She took another deep breath, calming herself down slowly. "It then started to freak out, like it was in pain." "Explain." The reporter asked now completely engaged with the story, having forgotten that this was an interview. The woman sighed before continuing. "It grabbed its head,  started shaking and fell to its knees. Then it screamed, screeched really, and then jumped onto the rooftops and disappeared." The woman looked very scared, her expression very serious as she continued. "I know it's crazy but, I know what I saw. They said that they where all captured, but the truth remains. A Nomu attacked Apex."

The second the woman finished her sentence, everyone watching the T.V. had become silent. The room was tense with shock and slight fear. Even Shoto Todoroki, the most calm and collected one in the room, had both dropped his jaw and his morning ice coffee. Just then, Katsuki Bakugou walked into the room. He scratched the back of his head and yawned, having just woken up. He gave everyone a confused and irritated look, not sure why they were silent. He walked behind the couch and leaned over to Kirishima, who was staring blankly at the T.V. screen. Pissed at the lack of acknowledgement, he lowly growled. "Oi, Sh*ttyhair. The hell is up with everyone?" Kirishima remained speechless. His only response was pointing at the T.V., which Bakugou looked at in annoyance. He didn't see anything wrong, until he read the news headline. Scrolling across the screen in red lettering: Nomu Attack Lands Villain In Hospital. Villain Barely Alive On Scene. In that moment, Bakugou was silent for a solid minute before screaming "WHAT THE F*CK?!"
