Annabeth/Steph's POV

I'm Stephanie Brown and my life has been a hell of a rollar coaster.

I was born and given the name Annabeth Chase, as my foster mother tells me. Apparently my parents had died in a fire accident when I was two years old.

The Browns adopted me withing a few weeks of living in the orphanage and I thought things might be better for me. I mean I had a new life, I asked my parents to change my name so it could be easier for me to forget my past. I thought my life would turn uphill.

I was wrong.

My foster dad, Arthur Brown secretly led a life of crime. His villain name, Cluemaster.

I know. Pretty pathetic.

My mom is a doctor and often spends late hours doing her job.

When we found out that "dad" was a criminal, the police had come to get him.

My mom became overwhelmed and started drinking and I barely saw her between her passed out nights and her working in the day.

Soon enough, my dad escaped Black Gate prison to go back to his usual mischief.

I decided to take matters into my own hand. And so I tore the eggplant coloured fabric of my curtain and made my first ever 'Spoiler' suit.

I thought if Gotham can have Batman and Robin, it can also have Spoiler.

And that was my origin story.

Where am I right now?

Well at this momment I'm about to head to my sixth period history class.

I grab my books from the locker and head to class.

My friend, Gabby is already there and I'm pretty she has reserved a seat for me next to her.

"Hey!" I say as I slide down to the seat on her left.

"Hi! I havn't seen you all day, where have you been?" She asked.

"Where I always am, The Library," I respond.

"You study too much has anyone ever told you that?" She smiled.

"You, don't study enough!" I respond.

"Okay class get seated. Today we will be going through the factors that lead to World War ll. Now can anyone tell me the three main reasons as to why this war had happened?"

My hand immediately shoots up.

"Yes, uh Miss Brown,"

"The weakness of the League of Nations, The expansion policy and the policy of appeasment," I state.

"Correct! Now I hope you all did you studying on these three factors, because, surprise surprise, test time!"

Groans are heard all over the class.

"Now, this will be a Structured essay question and you will be given fifteen minutes to complete it."

The question was easy, but writing down my essay proved to be a challenge because I have dyslexia. I start tapping my fingers on my chin as I write my answer. I did manage to get the main points across but I was not able to conclude my essay, once time was up.

"I wish I could read what I wrote better. I just needed to conclude! That's like three more sentences!" I start to complain.

"Girl you're weird. No one knew how to do this test. You're gonna be the top student again. I'm just glad I remembered one factor breifly," Gabby said.

"It's not about being top in class Gabs, it's about showing my standards." I reply.

"You are so weird Steph," she giggled.

I roll my eyes as we move seperate ways, to the next class, math.

I love math. Geometary is my favourite.

You see, one day I want to be an architect, and Geometary is a huge part of it.

The rest of the day went by like any other but what happened after was terrifying.

I was walking home from school when someone blocked my path.

I looked up.

"Cluemaster!" I sneered.

"Ah Steph, don't talk to me like that. We are family... are we not?" He smirked.

I got in my fight stance, ready to attack.

"Now now, we don't want any bloodshed now do we?"

"What do you want?" I glarred.

"I wan't to test your capabilities. You like to save the day right? Well, you see that building over there?" He guestures behind me.

"You mean my school?" I ask.

"Yup! I have planted a bomb in there and the timer is set for ten minutes, once I press this button. Now you can either run away from it and save yourself and let the people in there to die, which I highlt recomend, or you could do whatever strange thing you do and run towards the danger," he finished by rolling his eyes.

"You monster!" I yelled and ran back to school.

"Such a pity," he pressed the timer.

I ran into the speaker room.

"Attention everyone! There is a bomb placed in this school by a villain named Cluemaster. You have about nine minutes to leave the premesis, which I highly recommend," I said into to microphone.

All of a sudden the stomping of feet could be heard as people shoved past each other to leave the school.

I went and checked the premesis for anyone left. By then I had one munute to leave school.

Seeing it to be impossible to make it to the exit from the fourth floor in a minute, I ran up to the roof and jumped off, bracing for the effect.

I opened my eyes and saw that I was not falling.

I was veing carried away by a boy in a mask, Robin.

He took me far from my school before the whole building exploded.

"Oh my gosh! I'm alive! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!" I was so surprised and relieved to have made it, that I didn't know what I was doing. I hugged Robin like my life depended on it.

"Sorry," I said and looked away before he could see the red creeping to my cheeks.

"It's fine, I'm Robin by the way," he said.

"Oh I know who you are. Um I mean I have heard of you, not that I know know you. Gosh is it getting hot, I'm feeling hot," I start to fan myself with my hand.

"You could tell me your name?" He asked, with a smile.

"Oh of corse, my name. Um it's Anna- um I mean Stephanie. Stephanie Brown." I mentally face plam.

"Brown? As in Arthur Brown? The Cluemaster?" He asked.

"Um... he's my uh dad?" I say.

"Well I saw what you did in the school. It was very brave of you," he said and jumped off the building.

"Hey! Come back! I need help getting off this building! Oh forget it," I nake my way to the stairs to leave the building.

I glance back and I couldn't hell but wonder what would have happend if Robin hadn't saved me.

Hiiii I'm back with this story XDDDDD I'm sorry it's taking a while to update stuff. I just keep watching my shows and lose track of time. Btw I just started Merlin anf Gilmore Girls XDD Sooooo freaking good XDDDD
