When you were a little kid you always heard about the big bad monster's either in the closet or lurking in the dark. Those same story's drove you to always checking under your bed/closet and have a night light but as you grew older you figured out it was all a lie told to kids to keep them in check. Those nights where you were going to bed before it was dark so you could " beat the monsters" to it turned to staying out late alone. You wouldn't think to check behind you for someone let alone above you.

You wouldn't think one night when you were walking home from a long shift at work you would run into a kids nightmare in person.

Why would you? They aren't real.....well that's what I thought too....till my arrogance came back to bite me....literally.
