hey guys! so i know i haven't been active a lot recently, but i have an okay excuse.

nothing much. i'm just giving an update on what's been going on in my life.

and that would be what?

once again, nothing much. i've been kind of busy with school, but i've been trying to catch up on my writing and reading.

is that all?

actually, i started a story, as you could probably tell by the chapter name. it's called colours and i think it's kind of an okay story. anyway, i've been working pretty hard on it, so i think you guys should check it out. anyway, check out the blurb (sorry it's so bad, i'm not good at blurb-writing):

in sarah's world, colours matter. hair colours change based on emotions, but colours aren't just seen as a cute little party trick. soulmates are matched by the colours, and are not to be questioned. when soulmates first touch, their skins change colour to show the matched their soulmate.

sarah has wondered, occasionally, what her match could be like; yet she hasn't given it much thought. but when she finally learns who her match is, her world comes shattering down around her.

the boy next door, the boy who she thought she would be friends with forever. the boy who left her, seemingly never giving her a second thought. the boy whose sight breaks her a little bit more every day.

can the colours be wrong? could there have been a mistake? the colours haven't been wrong this far, but there's a first time for everything, right?

i update every friday, or sometimes sooner if i feel like it! so you could check it out if you like, maybe read the first few chapters? or not, it's obviously your choice.

also, i know my cover contests have been put on hold for a while, but i'll be starting them again soon, since i'm kind of getting my life back together.
