Time Skip

I opened my eyes and I felt breathing on my neck. I turned my head to see Jon and remembered last night. I kissed his cheek before slipping out of his arms. I put my robe on and went downstairs and started making breakfast. After a few minutes I felt a pair of arms snake around my waist. I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Hello." I said. 

  "Hello gorgeous." Jon said, kissing my neck. "Can you go set up the table Avery will be up soon." I said. "How do you know." Jon asked, leaning against the counter next to me. "She may be a heavy sleeper, but if she smells food she'll come booking it downstairs. Also, another thing is. Avery starts school in 3 weeks." I said.

  "What does that mean?" Jon asked. "What it usually means. She won't be traveling with me." I said. "So this is really your only chance to spend time with her." Jon said. "Yeah. Once school ends I go to my parents house to get her and then she comes with me. It's been this way for 2 years." I said. 

  "2 years I thought she was only 7." Jon said. "She is, but she was in preschool for a year." I said. "I bet it's rough on her. Also, where are the plates?" Jon asked. I shook my head and laughed, realizing I didn't tell him. "They are in the cabinet above you." I said. Jon turned around opening the cabinet. He grabbed some plates and headed into the dining room. 

Time Skip

In the 2 weeks that had passed it felt like it went quick. Today was the day that we sign Avery up for school. I was honestly nervous signing Avery up. I don't know any of the teachers. Even if I did go to this school when I was younger all the teachers I know are either dead, retired or about to retire. I know Avery was upset when I told her last year that she was going to my old school this year which meant she would be the new kid. "Avery come on honey." I said. Avery looked down and followed me. I sighed. "I got her don't, worry." Jon said, rubbing my back before picking up Avery and tickling her. Avery started giggling. It was nice having Jon around. It meant Avery and Jon would have father daughter time and then once Avery went to bed that was a whole other thing. I got in the car and Jon put Avery down and got in the passenger seat. Avery climbed in the back and buckled herself in. I started the car and backed out of the driveway before heading towards the elementary school.

Time Skip

"Avery we are here." I said, pulling into the parking lot. It has changed a lot since I was here. Yet again that was a long time ago. I parked the car and got out of the car. Jon and Avery soon got out of the car and we began walking towards the school entrance. "This place is huge." Avery said. "Well, I mean it may look big, but it's actually quite small once you walk in." I said opening the door.

   Avery walked inside and then Jon grabbed the door. "Go, I got it." Jon said. I nodded and walked inside the school. "What is in there mom?" Avery asked, pointing towards the double doors next to the entrance. "That is the gym." I said. "Cool." Avery said, smiling. "Come, on through here, honey, so we can sign you up." I said.

   Avery followed Jon and I to the office. Jon opened the door. Avery and I walked to the counter. "Well, if it isn't Ms. Hillman I haven't seen you in years." A voice said. I raised an eyebrow before turning my head to see someone walk out of the principal's office. "Mrs. Lewis." I said. "Shyla we've known each other for years you know what to call me." Sadie said.

   I smirked shaking my head. "Now what can I do for you?" Sadie asked. "I'm registering my daughter for school." I said. "Trying to bring the Hillman residence through here again?" Sadie asked. "Well, kind of, I mean my grandfather, aunt, father, brother and I all graduated from here so why not add Avery to the mix." I said messing up her hair. "Mom!" Avery said, trying to fix her hair. "Anyways, what is her full name?" Sadie asked.

   "Avery Marie Good." I said. "Is this your husband?" Sadie asked, looking at him. "Wait aren't you Dean Ambrose?" Sadie asked smirking. "Yes, I am Dean Ambrose, but I am not her husband, however, I am the father of her child. I can't have any type of relationship with Shyla since she is my boss." Jon said. "Oh, that is a shame." Sadie said, winking at him before getting back to work. 

I love how long it takes me to do things. It's probably because I still haven't eaten any food. KMS
