Back in our room, Natalia and I were talking softly about what had happened (It turned out the speaker went both ways and a security camera lurked behind the mirror), when an announcement came over the speaker.

       "Natalia White, Celine Seer and Isabella Bailey, report to the lab immediately."

       Natalia stiffened.

       "Come with me, I'll show you the way," she said in a voice that only slightly betrayed her fear.

       "What's the lab?" I wondered aloud.

       "I'll tell you on the way there," she replied in a voice that told me she was just holding it together for the mic

       We left the room and, as we walked the corridors Natalia finally spoke up.

      "What do you think the lab is, idiot?!" she demanded.

       I was shocked into silence as I put the pieces together to reveal a horrible image.

       "They run tests on us?!?!" she gave me a look that said "well, duh".

       "They'll probably just be giving you your new last name this time though."

       "New last name?" I was baffled.

       "To label us by............ anomaly. Did you think a vampire having the last name White was a coincidence?"

       "What was your old last name?"

       "You don't remember me Bella?" she fake pouted. "I guess I've grown some since first grade."

       I gasped as my childhood name that only one person in the world knew connected the dots. One person who I thought I would never see after first grade.
