David's pov

Me and Lui had been asking around for about a hour now with no luck. The clubs pulsing neon lights where starting to give me a headache but it was worth it to see the look on Lui's face every time someone greeted me in what could probably be considered a overly friendly way.

So what if I'm friends with most of the strippers in the club? They're all lovely ladies and yes I know some of them do have a crush on me but it didn't matter to me. I wasn't attracted to any of them. Still Lui would get this cute hostile look whenever one of them would fling themselves into my arms.

I was talking with one of them when Lui let out a little huff of air. I watched out of the corner of my eye as he looked around and then wondered off a little. He went over to a guy at the bar, flashed the ear piece, and began to ask a question. However the guy cut him off and swiftly stood up and picked Lui up by his shirt.

I let out a low growl and quickly navigated the club. I arrived just in time to stop the guys fist from connecting with Lui's face. "I suggest you put him down and chill." I ground out while I glared at him. I knew I looked extremely intimidating. I towered over most everyone here and when I wanted to I could seem colder than steel.

The guy looked at me and slowly lowered poor Lui. Actually I guess I shouldn't say poor. For someone who just almost got his lights punched out he looked pretty chill. He just brushed off his shoulders and smirked at me. "I had it covered." "Yeah if getting the shit punched out of you means having it covered you definitely had things covered." I replied not taking my eyes off the guy.

"What's your deal." I spat at the guy. Although it was a question it sounded more like it was a insult. "He has something that doesn't belong to him. Thought I'd teach him not he steal." The guy glared back at me. "All I did was show him the ear piece." Lui said quietly so only I could hear. "Give it." I quietly said back.

He pulled the small black object out of his pocket and slid it into my hand. "This what you mean." I said flashing the device. The look of anger in his eyes answered me. "We got this from a terrorist we stopped yesterday. She asked us to hold onto it because the person she loved was on the other end. She said she wanted him kept safe." Lui said as he stepped out from where I was partially blocking him.

"Damn it. That's just like her." "We're not here to get you in trouble we just want some answers." I assured him. "Alright follow me." He led us through the crowded club until we reached the doors to the outside

"Spill." Lui said and I shot him a look. I made it clear before we dived in here that I was doing the questioning. He shrugged and looked back at the guy. "My name is Luciel and the terrorist you arrested is named Leilia. I'm Leilia's partner in crime I guess you could say. I hack into buildings and watch her back from my computer room. Or I used to. We both decided to leave the criminal path years ago."

Me and Lui shared a look. "A few days ago Dark Blade came to us. He told us that if we didn't do this for him we'd pay. We both refused but the. The next day I got taken while I was out shopping. Dark Blade promised my safe return if she did this mission. She kept me at the club and allowed me to have the ear piece but not my computers. Leilia was desperate so she accepted the mission. She did what she was supposed to so I was freed only for her to get arrested." Luciel finished bitterly.

"What was the mission?" I asked. "That's the stage thing. It was just to get that news reporter chick and take her hostage. It was weird and spelt trouble that's why we refused at first." Luciel said as his brain traveled into the past.

"The terrorist fulfilled her mission that's all there is to it." A emotionless voice said. We all turned and saw Dark Blade leaning against the side off the club. "ITS YOUR FAULT SHES ARRESTED!" Luciel shouted and tried to rush the super villain. Me and Lui held him back. The no fighting rule was intact while we where still on the clubs property.

"What are you planning Dark Blade." Lui spat as he glared at the man. Apparently I wasn't the only one who could look extremely intimidating. Lui's whole body was tense which cause his muscles to bulge and his face was solid like steal. Noice. "That's for me to know and you to find out." He tipped his top hat at us before seeming to vanish into the shadows.
