-Chapter One-
Bryan barely even saw what was going on. He barely heard the shouts and the heavy humming of a helicopter. He didn't know what time it was. The medics wrapped his wounds feeling his pulse.
The medic looked at him, "Come on buddy, you'll be fine", he assured starting his work.
The second medic lifted Bryan's head wrapping the bandage quickly. "Nod if you can hear me", said the medic.
Bryan couldn't. His eyes were halfway open. The medic snapped his fingers checking and tapped Bryan's cheek, "Hey! Hey! Look! Don't give up!", yelled the medic towards Bryan.
The soldiers rushed over hoisting him up and hurried into the helicopter that had landed the sand blowing. They got in and carried the others trying to get life back into them checking vital signs. But it wasn't any use. Bryan was delusional his vision was giving out and blurring as his head fell over slightly. Several emergency medics began to remove his clothes and attire cutting and tearing to get to the wounds. An easy pulse was clipped onto his finger and began to record and monitor the heart beat.
"He's lost blood! We've got to get him back for a blood transfusion!", yelled a medic. They strapped tubes and IVs to Bryan. An oxygen mask was shoved over his mouth and strapped on.
"Come on man stay with me!", yelled the medic towards Bryan. But Bryan couldn't, he was fading in and out trying to hang on. He barely felt anything. He only felt himself slipping in and out his vision blacking out. Every sound was slurred and seemed distant. Bryan couldn't say anything he couldn't respond as everything went dark.
