The next morning wasn't necessarily sad for Jimin, but more of a feeling of disappointment in himself. He'd called a clinic the night before to make an appointment to rid himself of something he knew was going to make his life miserable.
Jimin didn't want to feel said, but I'm the moment, he did end up crying as he left the apartment with Yoongi to go. "It's okay, baby, you'll get through this." Yoongi said, resting his hand on Jimin's thigh and rubbing it comfortingly as he drove to the clinic.
Once there, he took Jimin inside and they waited until Jimin's name was called. Yoongi kissed Jimin's cheek gently. "You'll be okay, I promise." He whispered.
....
After the procedure, Jimin laid in the hospital bed, feeling like he'd done something good, yet so terrible. It's a weird feeling and Jimin didn't like it at all. He hated a feeling of something bad.
His eyes fluttered opened slowly, Yoongi sitting in the chair beside his bed. "Yoongi..." His said so quietly. Yoongi looked up, standing up and walking over to Jimin.
"How are you feeling, babe?" He asked, stroking Jimin's hair gently. "I dunno, my tummy hurts." Jimin said. "Aww, you say 'tummy'?" Yoongi awed. "Yeah." Jimin blushed. "Do you need any pain medicine?" Yoongi asked and Jimin nodded.
Yoongi pressed the red button beside Jimin's bed and after a few seconds, a nurse entered with pain medication for Jimin. She gave it to him, Jimkn gladly taking it. "It'll be like this for the rest of the day." She said and Jimin nodded with a hum.
"Just take this medication whenever you need it." She said and Jimin nodded.
After a few hours of rest, Jimin was released to go and the two left, Yoongi driving carefully over bumps to prevent startling Jimin's stomach and making the boy sick.
They went to Yoongi's house instead of back to the apartment, Yoongi suggesting they watch a movie in his home theater. Jimin was astonished at the fact Yoongi had a home theater.
Yoongi parked in the driveway and they got out the care, Yoongi wrapping his arm around Jimin's waist gently to keep the boy steady as he walked. "My stomach still hurts." Jimin murmured when they got inside.
"It's going to for a while, Jimin." Yoongi said as he helped the boy up to his room. "Lay down." Yoongi said, Jimin slowly crawling into the bed and laying down.
"I'll make you some soup, you need to eat something." Yoongi said and Jimin hummed softly, quite tired from the anesthetics they gave him. Yoongi left the room to go make it, Jimin closing his eyes, slowly drifting to sleep.
Yoongi came back up with the bowl of soup and a glass of ginger ale. He laughed softly seeing how Jimkn had fallen asleep. "Baby, wake up." He whispered as he shook the boy lightly.
Jimin woke up quickly, squinting slightly. He sat up and Yoongi handed him the bowl of soup. Jimin took small bites, Yoongi sitting beside him and turning the tv on.
"You never told Jin about this, did you?" Yoongi asked. Jimin shook his head, feeling bad from keeping it from him. He was supposed to talk to him about it yesterday but he'd totally forgot.
"You should talk to Jin." Yoongi said. "I think he hates me." Yoongi laughed bitterly. "He's starting to think, y-you're not right for me." Jimin mumbled.
"I can see why." Yoongi said. "Why?" Jimin asked. "I get mad to quickly." Yoongi said, fidgeting with his long sleeves. "You didn't get mad when you found out I pregnant. Or that I didn't keep it." Jimin said.
"You get mad at things you know are going to hurt me." Jimin said, carefully reaching his small hand over to hold Yoongi's larger one. "And to be honest Yoongi..." Jimin spoke softly, Yoongi looking into his eyes contently.
"That's what I really love about you. You care about me. Nobody's every cared about so much like you do." Jimin smiled cutely.
Yoongi smiled, caressing Jimin's face gently. "God, I love you so much, Jimin." Yoongi kissed him briefly. He pulled away, Jimin resting his head on Yoongi's shoulder.
"I love you too." Jimin mumbled. "I'll keep you company tomorrow, since you won't be going to class." Yoongi said then Jimin had a realization. "Yoongi my concert! I'm going I miss my concert tonight!" Jimin panicked.
"Hey, hey, calm down baby. It's okay." Yoongi spoke quietly. "When's your next concert?" Yoongi asked. "Not until after Christmas." Jimin whined, tears welling up in his eyes.
"I really wanted you to see me perform." Jimin sniffled. "I'll see you perform one day Jimin. Just not today." Yoongi said. "I promise."
He kissed Jimin's cheek, Jimin humming softly as he cuddled close to Yoongi.
"I just realized, you've never met my parents yet." Jimin mumbled. "I have not." Yoongi said. "Do you want to? They've been asking me constantly if I'm dating somebody yet."Jimin giggled.
"That would be nice." Yoongi said. "Cool, I guess we could go tomorrow, they didn't live too far from here." Jimin said excitedly. Yoongi's stomach dropped a little. He didn't think he'd be meeting Jimin's parents already.
He was afraid of what they would think of him. He also didn't know if they knew about the situation involving him and Hoseok from some years ago. He hoped not.
...
The next day, Jimin was feeling a lot better. He was currently getting ready to go to his parent's house so they could meet Yoongi. They seemed excited when they spoke on the phone with Jimin about it.
Jimin wore a pretty casual outfit, a white sweater, skinny jeans and black boots. His makeup was done lightly and he curled his hair a little.
Yoongi wore something different than what he'd usually wear. He wore a white t-shirt with a purple and black flannel over it, denim skinny jeans and black sneakers.
He went over to Jimin's apartment, Jimin letting him for a little bit before they left. "Hey Jimin, I wanted to give you something." Yoongi said, Jimin grabbing a snack from the pantry. "What?" Jimin asked and turned around.
Yoongi reached in his pocket and pulled out a small box that was wrapped in wrapping paper. He handed it to Jimin who carefully unwrapped it. He opened the box and inside was a ring.
He looked up at Yoongi, a little bit confused. "It's a promise ring, Jimin." Yoongi smiled. Jimin's eyes widened. "R-Really?" He stuttered. "Yeah, I was going to give it to you at your concert last night but you couldn't go." Yoongi said.
"I'm so in love with you, Jimin, and I want us to stay together for a really long time. The first step is commitment, so I wanted to give that to you and make that promise, that I'll always love you and be there for you." Yoongi wrapped his arms around Jimin's waist.
Jimin sniffled, wiping the tears away from his eyes. "Y-Yoongi you're s-so sweet." Jimin hiccuped. He pulled Jimin closer to him, the younger burying his face in Yoongi's shoulder as he cried softly. "Shhhh, calm down baby." He whispered.
"Sorry." Jimin lifted his head and sniffled. Jimin placed the ring on his finger and wrapped his arms around Yoongi's neck, kissing him happily. "I have a matching one." Yoongi held up his hand, Jimin humming softly.
"We should get going, my mom said to be there around 1:30." Jimin said and Yoongi nodded. The two put their jackets on and left, Jimin anxious as well. He wanted them to accept Yoongi because that was the person he was likely to marry and if the didn't approve of him, they couldn't.
"Are your parents nice?" Yoongi asked. "Yes! They're very nice people." Jimin said. "Are you nervous, Yoongi?" Jimin asked. Yoongi nodded hesitantly. "They're not mean, I promise." Jimin held one of Yoongi's hands.
"What do they work as?" Yoongi asked. "Well, my mom used to be an idol a long time ago. She just does commercials and stuff now. I know right, totally crazy." Jimin said.
"Jimin, that's awesome! You're like, following her footsteps now." Yoongi said. "My dad is a lawyer. Nothing too special." Jimin said. "Cool." Yoongi chuckled.
They arrived at the Park's house, which was large. Yoongi parked in the driveway, the two getting out.
Jimin tang the doorbell and waited a few seconds before his mother opened. "Hi sweetie! It's been a while!" She hugged her son as they entered the house. Yoongi closed the door behind them.
"Hey kiddo." His father hugged him as well. "Hi mom, hi dad." Jimin smiled cutely. "Guys, this is Min Yoongi. He's my boyfriend." Jimin said and Jimin's mom smiled.
"Hello, Yoongi, I'm Park Mi-jeong, Jimin's awesome mother." She laughed a little as she shook his hand, Yoongi smiling faintly as he bowed. Yoongi met eyes with Mr. Park and fear set in immediately.
He should've known something was up when Jimin mentioned his father was a lawyer. "Hello, Yoongi, I'm Park Pil-woo." He said and shook Yoongi's hand firmly, Yoongi bowing. Jimin could see there was something wrong just by his father's and Yoongi's expressions.
Yoongi's friendly smile seemed almost...strained. "Well, I made lunch, let's go eat." Mrs. Park said. The door opened and in walked a boy about the same height as Jimin and they looked similar.
"Jihyun!" Jimin squealed happily and hugged his brother. "When did he get back from Hong Kong?" Jimin asked. "Yesterday, I forgot to tell you." His mom said.
"Hi Jimin, I missed you!" Jihyun said. The two let go of each other. "This is my boyfriend, Yoongi." Jimin said. "What's up." Jihyun said and gave him a fist bump. Yoongi appreciates his brother's chill manner.
"Yoongi...hey aren't you that one guy who-" "Jihyun." Mr. Park eyed him. "Sorry, never mind." Jihyun said, surprised Jimin had never heard of Yoongi before this year. Jimin, yet again, was confused.
They sat at the dining room table, eating lunch and conversing. Yoongi likes tensed up and Jimin could tell. Mr. Park kept giving him this complex look. "So Yoongi, what do you do?" Mrs. Park asked. "I'm work under the CEO of Lotte." He said.
"Oooo, I'm sure you're making a lot of money." She said. "I am." Yoongi chuckled. "Our Jiminie here wants to be an idol just like his mother was." She ruffled Jimin's hair.
"Mom~" He whined. "He told so." Yoongi smiled at Jimin who blushed. "I'm gonna be a pornstar." Jihyun joked. "Jihyun! What did I tell you about joking around like that!" His mother snapped.
"He says that all the time." Jimin whispered to Yoongi, giggling softly. Yoongi laughed it off. "So Yoongi..." Mr. Park began.
"You haven't been in any trouble with the police or anything, have you? Don't want my son dating someone who's bound to get him into trouble." Mr. Park said.
Yoongi tensed up again, Jimin noticing. He just assumed Yoongi was nervous but there was way more to the story. "Dad, he's not like that." Jimin said, holding Yoongi's hand under the table. "No, sir, I've never been in trouble with the police." Yoongi murmured.
Mr. Park smirked faintly. "Welp, I'm going to my room. Thanks for lunch, mom." Jihyun left. "Do you need help with dishes, mom?" Jimin asked. "No sweetie, I don't. Why don't you go show Yoongi around." She said and the two got up.
Jimin took Yoongi by the hand and they went upstairs, Yoongi relaxing now that he was away from Mr. Park. Then entered a bedroom that was decorated very nicely. It was all white, fairy lights strung up on the wall with pictures clipped to them, a desk, a large bed, a fuzzy couch and a tv. It was set up like Jimin's apartment bedroom.
"Wow, you're bedroom is so nice." Yoongi said. "I know, I really miss it." Jimin said. "My parents made me move to a dorm apartment so I could meet new people." Jimin pouted.
"You would've never met me." Yoongi said. "You're right." Jimin smiled and wrapped his arms around Yoongi's neck. Yoongi swing his arms around Jimin's waist loosely, looking into his eyes contently and smiling.
Jimin blushed. "What?" Jimin mumbled. "Nothing, you're just so pretty, and cute." Yoongi booped the tip of Jimin's nose, Jimin giggling adorably.
"I don't think your dad likes me." Yoongi said. "He just has to get used to you. My dad treats me like a 'daughter' pretty much. He doesn't want some guy he doesn't know to break my heart or anything. He's really protective over me." Jimin said.
"Makes sense." Yoongi said. "Don't worry about him." Jimin whispered. "I'll try." Yoongi said. "No, you won't." Jimin said. "Fine, I won't worry about it." Yoongi whispered, pressing their foreheads together gently.
"I love you Jimin. I'll love you forever." Yoongi spoke quietly, swaying him back and forth slowly. "Forever is a really long time, Yoongi." Jimin said. "Exactly." Yoongi said.
Jimin smiled cutely and connected their lips in a long, passionate kiss, Yoongi's hold become tighter around him. He ran his fingers through Yoongi's hair, Yoongi smiling slightly in the kiss.
Their little sweet moment was cut short when Jimin's brother opened the door. "Jimin-" He gagged. Jimin pulled away from Yoongi and laughed. "Ewww!" Jihyun covered his eyes and gagged immaturely.
"Jihyun, you need to calm down." Jimin giggled. "I didn't want to see that!" He whined. "Aren't you a Junior now? Don't you see this stuff in the hallways at school?" Jimin asked.
"No, well, yes but-" "Exactly. Calm down." Jimin said. "Mom is making cookies and she wants to know if you guys wanna our frosting in them." Jihyun asked.
"Sure, we have nothing else to do." Jimin said. He grabbed Yoongi's hand and they left his room, going downstairs into the kitchen. "I'll leave you two to frost them, tell me if you need anything." His mother said and Jimin nodded.
Jihyun sat on the other side of the counter, frosting cookies. Jimin grabbed a cookie and began frosting it, Yoongi just watching him with an awed expression. "Wow, Yoongi, didn't know you were that whipped for weebs like Jimin." Jihyun teased.
"I'm not a weeb! You're the nerd here." Jimin frowned. Yoongi chuckled softly. "No, he's not, he's just really pretty." Yoongi said, Jihyun gagging again. "Awww, Yoongi." Jimin smiled at his boyfriend.
Yoongi wrapped his arms around Jimin's waist from behind, giving him a warm back hug. "God, I leave for two months a this happens." Jihyun mumbled. "Jihyun, hows the single life treating you?" Jimin asked, Yoongi kissing the side of his neck.
Jihyun frowned, the two giggling at his expression. "I have a girlfriend." Jihyun mumbled. "Oh, so you are straight." Jimin questioned. "I don't know, I'm not sure." Jihyun shrugged. "Oh so you're going through that phase now. Got it. You're gay, you just don't it." Jimin said.
"You two are making me sick." Jihyun couldn't take anymore of the two lovebird's canoodling, so he got up and left.
"He acts like you sometimes." Yoongi said. "God, don't remind me." Jimin rolled his eyes. Jimin's father walked in, a stern look on his face. "May I speak to Yoongi for a minute?" He asked. "Sure." Jimin said.
He looked back Yoongi who kissed his cheek before unwrapping his arms around his waist and leaving the kitchen with Mr. Park.
They walked down the hall and into his office, Mr. Park shutting the door. He shoved Yoongi against the wall, Yoongi flinching. "You got some nerve showing up here, some real nerve Min." He said through gritted teeth. "You're lucky I didn't even mention the situation to Jimin. I swear to God, if I ever find out you hurt him or take advantage of him, I'll make sure you're wiped off the face the rest, you hear me, boy?" Mr. Park spat.
"Yes sir." Yoongi said. "You better treat my son like a princess or things will be really bad for you." He said and Yoongi nodded. "Leave. If you mention anything about this or the situation to Jimin, it's over for you." He said.
Yoongi and Mr. Park left the office and Yoongi went to find Jimin. Jimin was sitting in the living room, watching tv. "Hey, you ready to go?" Yoongi asked lowly. "Yeah." Jimin said. He said goodbye to his mom, dad and brother at the door.
"It was nice meeting you Yoongi." Mrs. Park said and Yoongi nodded. "Bye guys." Jimin waved before the left.
The car ride was quiet until Jimin spoke up. "Babe, what's wrong? You seemed off all day." Jimin asked. "It's nothing, Jimin." Yoongi murmured.
Yoongi took Jimin up to his apartment, the two standing at his doorway. "I'll see you tomorrow, okay? I love you." Yoongi said and kissed Jimin quickly. "Bye, I'll see you." Jimin said before going inside.
He went to his room and sat on his bed. Yoongi was no longer paying him because Jimin was able to pay off all his debt and college fees. Their relationship was genuine now, though Jimin would still receive money from random guys for literally doing nothing but he wasn't complaining. A little extra money didn't hurt.
He received a sudden text from Hoseok.
Hoseok: Jimin I think it's time for you to know before things escalate between you and Yoongi. I'm protecting you, just know that.
Jimin: What happens?!
Hoseok: Yoongi did some bad things some years ago, Jimin.
Jimin was beginning to shake, he want to know so badly.
Jimin: what happened?
Hoseok: Some years ago, Yoongi raped a women at a work party. I have proof.
Hoseok sent a thread of news articles and trial documents from the entire case. Jimin didn't know this yet, but that still wasn't the entire story.
Jimin read over all of them, some of them chopped up in weird spots so it was hard to keep along. He couldn't believe this. After he'd been raped, he was dating some who'd done the same thing, in love with someone who could potentially rape him
Hoseok: I tried to warn you but you wouldn't listen.
Jimin: Oh my god, I'm so sorry. Thank for this information.
Jimin was struggling to breathe as tears rushed to his eyes. He peered at the promise ring on his finger and began crying. He was going to break up with Yoongi tomorrow.
