Josh POV.

  "You cheating!" Ryan said as we were playing the game. "You mad or nah? Just accept the fact that you can't beat me in Tekken. I'm just that nice." I said brushing my shoulders off like I was that bull. "Ight ight whatever, play me in a round of Need for Speed and we'll see who'll be laughing then." he said as I smiled, Now he's talking my language. Racing games are my favorite types if games to be honest. "Start the game up and don't get mad when I smoke you. It's nothing personal" I laughed as he smirked. "Let's spice it up. If I win, you stay with me for two more days." he said with a smile. He ain't slick. 

  "If I win, hmm lemme think." I said as I literally had to think." I said as I legitimately had to think about what it was that I wanted out of the bet. "Oh I got it, if I win, you make me whatever I want. Plus you...nevermind." I said as I cut that last thought out of my head. Nobody can see allat anyway. That's mine. I sat back on the chair while the games splash screen show up with all the decent cars with different customization's driving around. He pressed start and went to multiplayer mode. "Do the championship one." I said as he laughed. "Ight pick your poision." he said. I actually waited a bit to see what he was gonna pick before making my choice. 

  He chose a 99 Supra, which was nice from how he tricked it out but nothing compared to my baby. I chose a 2001 Nissan Skyline, one of my favorites. "That's a nice lil whip but I doubt you gonna be able to beat me." he smirked. "Don't cry when I beat you. Pick your course." I said as I laughed at him. "Ight, ight. Hmmm. This one should do." he said as he chose the course. It looked a little hard but I'm good at drifting and allat so no sweat. Once he started the race, I noticed that his facial expression changed. Looks like somebody is serious. I couldn't help but smile at him, well that and the fact that I know that I got this race in the bag. Once the light turned green, we were off. 

  Both of us hit the gas on time so we kinda blew past most of the competition. Were we now basically fighting each other for the lead. As the first turn came, I smiled. Let's see what he does. He cut the turn a little early, blocking me from getting past him. Hmm looks like I have to try something else. "What was that you was saying earlier? Cat got your tongue now." he said. I could feel the happiness and sarcasm dripping from his voice when he said that. We kept at it for to a few more minutes until the last turn came up. Just like earlier, he did the same thing but this time I was ready. "Welp. There's that." I smirked. "Yup." he said. It sounded like he was closer to me then he was before. 

  Out the corner of my eyes, I saw that he was. In fact, I was sitting right in between his legs now. I paused the game and turned around to him. "You are sneaky."I said as he laughed. "I couldn't help it. You was too far away from me and I wanted to be near you." he said as he laughed. I gave him a kiss as he held me there. Out the corner of my eye, I saw that he unpaused the game. I drifted around him and hit the nitro on the way to the finish line. Quick tip, always save your nitro for when your opponent least expects it. "Damn I thought I had you there." he said as he broke away from the kiss. "Yeah you thought cheating ass." I laughed. "Come here." he said turning me fully around to him as we continued to kiss. Those lips are something else I tell you. 

  "So, you won. What are the terms of your bet?" he asked with his eyebrow raised. "Well I'm not hungry at the moment but when I am, you'll know so be ready. Also, you have to take me on a date." I smirked at him. "You just added that in but it's cool. That was already in the plans anyway so you didn't need to worry about that. However, I want to know what you was thinking earlier before you said nevermind." he said as I laid on his chest. "That's for me to know and for you to never find out." I laughed. The thought of him running around the neighborhood in nothing but his underwear made me blush mad hard. However, I don't want nobody else to see what's now mine. Hence why I dismissed the thought. Lord knows I wasn't ready for allat. 

  "Come on get up." he said as he sat  up. "Why what's up?" I asked confused. "Nothing I just want to go outside today so let's go. Slide your sneaks on." he said. "Whose parent are you? I didn't know you had children." I said as I laughed. "Stop playing and let's go. Silly ass." he said as he laughed with me. "Hold on. Lemme make sure I smell and look presentable and allat." I said as I ran upstairs. I took a quick ho bath and slathered on some deodorant before running back downstairs. "Now we can go." I said as I walked past him and out of the door. "Damn you smell good." he said as I laughed. "Should've did what did. Let's go." I said grabbing his hand as we walked out the door. "Gime kiss." he said as we stood by the car. "Nah. start driving.
 I laughed at him. 

  "Nope. Not until you give me that." he said as I smirked at him, I never give in to demands. "That's fine I'll walk." I said as I got out the car and did just that. I was literally walking to the  nearest bus stop. When he saw that I literally wasn't coming back, he started the car up and followed behind me. "Josh I was playing. I ain't think you was really gonna walk." he said as I ignored him and kept walking. He literally pulled up on the curb and blocked my path. "Get your petty ass in the car." he said as I laughed. "You almost ran my foot over smart ass." I said as he smiled. "Shouldn't have been so damn hard headed." he said back to me. 

  As he was about to pull off the curb, I stopped him and kissed him. "Happy now?" I said as he smiled even harder. "Very." he said as he pulled off the curb and drove to the park. "Wait, where are we going?" I asked him. "The same place we always go. The park." he said. OK so yeah, we were going to the park. What? I had to make sure that's where we were going OK? We listened to a few songs on the radio as we drove. He let me play a few games on his phone too, well he really told me to do whatever I wanted with it but I'm not the type to go through other people's shit so there's that. When you go looking for something, you'll most likely find it and 9 times out of 10, it'll be hurtful as fuck and you'll regret looking in the first place. 

  "You're internet is fast as hell." I said as I was googling random shit. "Yup. I'll hook you up one day." he smiled. I guess he was trying to find a nicer way of saying I needed an actual phone, a for effort. When we arrived at the park, it was packed. Looks like everyone decided to come outside today. "I'm going on the swings. Go play ball with your boys." I said to him as I walked over to the where the swings at. "Hold that for me." he said as he handed me his phone. Luckily there wasn't any near the swing so I had a free one. I was just in a daydream swinging my feet in the air. This has been a really good day, nothing can bring me down. I was snapped out of my day dream when I felt someone stopping my swing. I opened my eyes to see Ryan standing there, body glistening with sweat and allat. Jesus.

  "Wassup?" I said as smiled and looked at him. "Just making sure you good. I see you enjoying your swing." he said as I laughed. "How long has it been?" I asked as I handed him his phone. "About an hour. Doesn't look like I missed anything. You wanna watch ya boy play?" he asked with his head slightly tilted. "Nah. Niggas be ready to fight over the littlest things plus you gonna try to show off cuz I'm there. You ain't low." I said as we both laughed. "Well damn. Good point. Can I at least get some good luck then?" he asked. I was confused for a minute, my dumb ass was about to say it until I finally caught on what he meant. "You sure?" I asked him a little scared. "Yup now can I?" he said as I nodded my head and he leaned in. "Boy get off of me." I laughed as he was about to get to ahead of himself.  

  "I didn't even do anything. I'm still in the same spot I was in earlier." he said as he was exactly right. "Whatever but I felt that you was. Go." I said as he laughed. "I'll be back babe." he said as I went back to swinging. I finally got tired and got off the swings. I didn't even notice that it got mad dark out side. Out the corner of my eye, I saw Ryan jogging to me. "You ready to go?" he said as he was about to put his arm around me but I swatted that shit away. "What? I don't stink that bad do I?" he said as he did a quick smell check. I laughed as we kept walking. 

  "There he is oh my god!" I heard someone yell. I turned around to see Janine running up to me. Two cops were following behind her. "Oh my god Josh! I'm so happy that you're OK. He didn't hurt you did he? It's been two days and I haven't heard nor seen you. None of the other children have seen you either. I've been worried sick!" she said. It didn't take a genius to know she was speaking that bullshit. "Sir you're under arrest for kidnapping and child endangerment." the cops said to Ryan as I looked around confused. "He didn't do anything. What are you doing?!" I yelled as they were placing Ryan in handcuffs. "J, you gonna make it worse. Just call my parents" he said as I l remembered that I had his phone. I watched as the cops drove off with him. 

  "Nothing like making your life a living hell. Now back to the orphanage you go." Janine said with a smile. It seemed like my life was glass and somebody took a sledge hammer to it. "You just still standing? You must want to stand out in this hot sun tomorrow. Just like old times sake. This time I'll pour some nice scalding hot water in that ass." she said. "Try it bitch and I'll beam one of those books right at your fucking head." I said as my mood instantly changed. I got in the backseat of her car just replaying what happened earlier. This bitch really lied like that. Wow. "You should be lucky that I'm letting yo ass ride in my car. I can at least get a thank you." she said with an attitude. "Keep playing like I won't stop drop and roll my ass outta this bitch and catch the bus. We'll see who'll be in jail next." I said looking at her through the rear view mirror. 

  That ass was quiet after that. Once we made it back to the abyss, I meant the orphanage,  I ran straight up stairs. "Slam my door again." she said. I opened the door and slammed it again. Fuck her. I quickly called Ryan's parents and explained the situation. They said they were on the first flight back and would be here tomorrow to sort everything out. After hanging up the phone with them, I just sat in complete darkness. "It seems like I can never be happy huh?" I said as I slowy drifted off to sleep.
