*a few weeks later*

Angie's POV

I snuggle into my sheets not wanting to get up yet knowing that it's my birthday today. I feel more warmth envelope me which makes me smile and snuggle deeper into the warmth, I run my finger over my sheets and feel something hard, I scrunch up my face confused. I keep feeling the hard surface, I feel hard bumps and I continue to unconsciously explore the surface. Something stops my hand suddenly, I decide to finally give in to the morning light and open my eyes slowly, I look to where my hand is and see Josh smiling down at me, my eyes widen and I jump up and onto him hugging him. "Why are you here Josh?" I ask him happily, "you honestly thought that I would miss your birthday?" He replies to me holding me close, "don't you have a game tomorrow?" I exclaim, "yeah but it's no big deal Ange, I wanted to be here with you" he explains to me smiling, I put my legs on either side of his waist as I sit up and I kiss his lips gently, he holds my waist tracing circles on the skin showing from beneath my T-shirt.

"Okay enough guys, it's our turn" I hear someone say, I pull away from Josh and see a bunch of Team Canada guys at my bedroom door, I squeal getting off of Josh and skipping over to them. I hug the closest person which happens to be Connor, he laughs and hugs me back for a few seconds before I move on to the next guy. Once I get through all the guys that came I step back and look at them, "you guys didn't have to come here for me" I explain, "we wanted to Angie, you're our best friend" Curtis explains, "but all you guys play for teams, aren't you missing games?" I ask, they all shrug, "we rather be here with you" Sam Renhairt says smiling. I pout at them, "am I going to get you guys in trouble?" I ask them crossing my arms across my chest, they all shake their heads in a no motion, I let out a breath in relief, "okay well then i'm fine with it" I say clapping happily. "Well I need to get changed so all of you can wait in the kitchen for me" I tell all the guys, they pout but I push them out of my room. Josh stays against the door frame smiling at me, I walk up to him and he straightens out wrapping his arms around my waist bringing me close, I place my hands on his chest smiling, he pecks my lips gently, "you going to go keep the guys company?" I ask him once he pulls away, "I guess" he tells me pouting as he walks to the kitchen. I laugh before closing my door and changing into an outfit.

I walk into the kitchen once i'm done getting changed and I see all the Team Canada guys just sitting around waiting. Jake notices me first so he gets up and hugs me tightly, I laugh with my arms around his torso, "what is everyone waiting for?" I ask him confused, "well none of us wanted to risk burning down the house so we're waiting for you to make some breakfast" he replies to me smiling. I roll my eyes before letting go of him and walking over to the fridge to get ingredients for breakfast. I decide to make some omelettes for all the guys, I ask them what they want in each of their omelettes, they give me answers and I get started while they talk to me about random things happening with them. I feel arms come to my waist from behind as I'm focusing on the pan in front of me, "you don't have to do this for us Ange" Josh tells me quietly, "I know but you guys are my best friends so I honestly don't mind" I reply to him pecking his check before going back to focusing on the omelette in the pan. Josh keeps standing behind me with his hands on my waist, he kisses my shoulder gently which makes me smile as I make omelettes, "why don't you go talk to the guys?" I ask him, "I want to spend time with the birthday girl" he tells me resting his head on my shoulder as he looks at me cooking.

Once we're all fed and happy, I flop back onto the couch next to Josh and Connor sighing happily. They both throw their arms around my shoulders squishing me in the process, I giggle as I try to get away from their big arms. Josh grabs me with both of his arms and he places me onto his lap, my hands are placed on his shoulders to keep steady, I smile down at him and kiss his nose gently before pulling away and getting off of his lap to go clean up the kitchen. As I'm washing the dishes I hum along to Katy Perry's Happy Birthday dancing around a little with a smile on my face. Hands come to my waist which makes me jump a little, I look over my shoulder and see Josh smiling at me, "you don't have to stop Ange" he tells me, I blush realizing that he saw me humming and dancing, I hit his arm with my free hand, he just laughs and kisses my cheek before walking out of the room. 

A/N I know this is a little shorter than usual but I sort of ran out of ideas at the end!! But the next chapter should be better hopefully :P
