Chapter 7

*My POV*

We soon were walking with our bikes as Richie rode around us on his bike. "No, I love being your personal doorman, really. Could you idiots have taken any longer?" Richie asked us. "All right, shut up, Richie." Eddie said.

"Yeah, shut up, Richie." Stan said annoyed. "Oh, okay, trash the trash-mouth, I get it. Hey, I wasn't the one scrubbing the bathroom floor and imagining that her sink went all Eddie's mom's vagina on Halloween." Richie said as he kept riding around us.

"She didn't imagine it." Bill suddenly said while stopping, causing us all to stop as well. "I... I saw something too..." Bill said. "You saw blood too?" Stan asked. "Not blood. I saw G-G-Georgie... It seemed so real. I mean, it seemed like him, but there was this..." Bill said.

"The clown. Yeah, I saw him, too." Eddie said, Ben nodded as well as did Stan, and me. "Wait, can only virgins see this stuff? Is that why I'm not seeing this shit?" Eddie asked. "Oh, shut up, Richie." I said rolling my eyes.

Suddenly we heard screaming in the distance. We saw Belch Huggins' car. We should probably get out of here." Eddie said. "Wait, is that the homeschooled kid's bike?" Bill asked pointing to Mike's bike.

"Yeah, that's Mike's. We have to help him." I said. "We should?" Richie asked. "Yes!" I said before dropping my bike and running off, hearing them all follow me.

*3rd POV*

Bowers, Belch and Vic were pushing Mike's face into raw meet, and as he did he saw Pennywise eating a hand, before he was kicking the face. Bowers pinned Mike's arms down and held up a rock, acting like he was gonna hit him, when suddenly a rock collided with Bowers' head.

*My POV*

"Nice throw." Stan said as him and the others arrived to see that I threw a rock at Bowers. "Thanks." I said as Mike rushed over to us as we all grabbed rocks. "You losers are trying too hard. She'll do you. You just gotta ask nicely, like I did." Bowers said as he rubbed his dick(or what he claims he has).

Ben screamed in rage and threw the rock he was holding. "What the fuck?" They asked before we began throwing rocks at Bowers and his friends. "Rock war!" Richie screamed before getting hit in the face.

We threw rocks at each other, but since there was more of us, we landed more hits on them as we kept throwing and I got Belch in the head like I did Bowers. We all pant as we began walking off with Mike.

"Go blow your dad, you mullet-wearing asshole!" Richie screamed flipping him off as we kept walking. "Thanks, guys, but you shouldn't have done that. They'll be after you guys, too, now." Mike said.

"Oh, no, no, no. Bowers?" Eddie asked. "He's always after us." I said as we all walked in a line. "I guess that's one thing we all have in common." Bill said. "Yeah, Homeschool. Welcome to the Losers' Club." Richie said.

| A few days later |

It was the 4th of July parade, and we were standing together looking at a missing poster of Edward Corcoran. "They say they found part of his hand all chewed up near the Standpipe." Stan said.

"He asked to borrow a pencil once." Ben said as Bill walked to the poser and lifted it to show Betty Ripsom's poster. "It's like she's been forgotten because Corcoran's missing." Bill said as we looked at it.

"Is it ever gonna end?" Stan asked. "What the fuck, dude?" We heard Richie ask before Eddie appeared with two ice cream cones. "What are you guys talking about?" Eddie asked as he gave the second cone to Richie.

"What they always talk about." Richie answered. "I actually think it will end. For a little while, at least." Ben said. "What do you mean?" Beverly and I asked. "So, I was going over all my Derry research and I charted out all the big events. The Ironworks explosion in 1908, the Bradley Gang in '35, and The Black Spot in '62. And now kids being... I realized this stuff seems to happen..." Ben said.

"Every 27 years." Bill and Ben said as we all realized. Soon enough, we relocated in the park on a lot of benches. "Okay so, let me get this straight. It comes out from wherever to eat kids for, like, a year? And then what? It just goes into hibernation?" Eddie asked.

"Maybe it's like... What do you call it? Cicadas. You know, the bugs that come out once every 17 years." Stan said. "My grandfather thinks this town is cursed. He says that all the bad things that happened in this town are because of one thing. An evil thing that feeds off the people of Derry." Mike explained.

"But it can't be one thing. We all saw something different." Stan said. "Maybe. Or maybe It knows wat scares us most and that's what we see." Mike said. "I-I saw a leper. He was like a walking infection." Eddie said.

"I saw It with half a spider body and half a clown body in the darkness." I said. "But you didn't. Because it isn't real. None of this is. Not Eddie's leper, or Bill seeing Georgie, or Izzy seeing all her fears mixed into one, or the woman I keep seeing." Stan said.

"She hot?" Richie asked. "No, Richie. She's not hot! Her face is all messed up. None of this makes any sense. They're all like bad dreams." Stan said. "I don't think so. I know the difference between a bad dream and real life, okay?" Mike said.

"What'd you see? You saw something, too?" Eddie asked. "Yes. Do you guys know that burned-down house on Harris Avenue? I was inside when it burned down. Before I was rescued, my mom and dad were trapped in the next room over from me. They were pushing and pounding on the door, trying to get to me. But it was too hot. When the firemen finally found them, the skin on their hands had melted down to the bone." Mike explained to us.

"We're all afraid of something." I said as I leaned against Bill's side which he let me. "Got that right." Richie said turning to look back at the stage. "Why, Rich? What are you afraid of?" Eddie asked. "Clowns." Richie said looking at us.
