It was a very dark and stormy night. The rain was pouring down hard. A woman was running in an alleyway, not too far from her job. A man was chasing her. As he was running to catch up to her, he had an evil grin on his face.

Suddenly, she tripped on something and fell down, hard onto the concrete ground. She looked back at what she tripped on. It was a brick. That stupid brick could have cost her her life.

She stood up and faced her stalker. She backed away slowly as he crept forward.

"Stay away from me!" She cried.

He laughed at her. "Yeah, like I'm going to listen to you after you ran away from me."

He backed her up against a wall and started to beat her. He hit her and pushed her down onto the ground. He kicked her and made her bleed. She cried and begged him to stop, but he continued to kick her.

Suddenly, he wasn't there anymore.

She looked up, weakly, at a stone statue of an angel. She thanked the angel and passed out.

Her clothes were soaked, as the angel bent down and touched her face. She was gone.
