I woke up, the beginning of a new day, and I seen a owl outside my window.

"Special Delivery for Topaz!" The owl hooted.

" Thanks. " I grabbed the envelope and opened it.

Invitation To Jamaa Academy

Congratulations! You are chosen to be a new student at Jamaa Academy!

At Jamaa Academy, everyone is a friend to all!

You will learn magic, healing, and more!

I closed the letter back, and I started going downstairs.

Then I stopped.

"Thanks!" I said to the owl.

"Your welcome!" the owl flew off.

"Mom! I got a invitation to Jamaa Academy!"

"Congratulations, honey." Mom said proudly.

"The war with the phantoms is over now, right?" I asked, afraid of phantoms.

"Yes, dear." Mom said.

"Okay, thanks for answering, mom." I replied.

The bus for Jamaa Academy pulled up.

"Bye mom! See ya later!" I walked into the bus.

" Hi. " I said to a yellowish-orange Fox nearby, who was sitting by a pure white fox.

"Hi, I'm Frost, and this is Rust." The white fox said.

" Nice to meet you, I'm Topaz. " I said.

The bus started to move, and we went through a portal.

Then I saw something- or should I say, someone- that caught my eye.

I saw a phantom. I was scared.

"Don't worry, that's Crypto. She loves jammers, like as a friend not as a meal, duh." Frost said.

" Hi! " Crypto said. "Your new, aren't you?" She asked me. "Yes...."

"Come on! We got to get to our classes! You have class with me and Crypto first." Frost said.

"Okay." We walked into a big wooden castle looking building, not a school looking building, but a castle.

We went up three flights of stairs, and we went into a room with a wooden door.

"Hello, New students I'm Armandeu." The old, red arctic wolf told the new student.

"Crypto, Frost, Star, you three will help the new students." She told them.

"There is only one new student!" Star complained.

"Oh, then. Complaining, huh? Frost, Crypto, you two will help her."  Armandeu told them.

Frost and Crypto nodded.

They both sat by me, Crypto on my right, Frost on my left.

"Your okay with sitting by Crypto, yes?" Mrs Armandeu asked.

"Yes." I replied.

"Okay." She cleared her through.

"You can just call me A, if you want." Armandeu said.

I nodded.

"And I'm Hoot." I suddenly noticed a brown, old owl kinda camouflaged in the wooden walls.

I didn't even see him!

"I didn't even notice you until now." I admitted.

"Yes, many students don't on their first day." Hoot said.

"I teach nature and healing magic, while Hoot teaches ice magic." A told me.

Crypto looked at me. "I can learn any of the magic, but phantoms are stronger at dark magic, but I don't want to be evil like the other phantoms, so I learn the Jammer's magics." Crypto told me.

So, she's not evil! That's good. I don't want to be afraid of her.

"I understand. I wouldn't want to be evil either." I admitted, because it was true.

"Yeah, who would?" Crypto replied.

"Evil dudes." I said.

"Guess so, I would hate to be a evil dude." Crypto said, as Frost sat in silence.

"Anyways, what element of Magic would you like to start in? nature, ice, or healing?" A asked.

" Hmm... I guess Ice magic... " I said.

"It sounds.... Cool." I laughed at my own joke.

"Hmm. Making jokes, huh?" A said, trying not to laugh.

"Yup, I'm making a joke meow." I said.

"Come on now, I will teach Ice magic. Your almost the only Jammer in this class who will learn Ice magic." Hoot said.

" Really? " I asked.

"Yes. Nobody else really wants to learn Ice magic, except you and Frost." Hoot admitted.

"Well, Now Topaz is." Frost said.

" Now, come here. " We went outside into a garden with a pond.

"First, you must think about moving the water, and be calm. Then, focus on freezing the water into a frozen snowball, and since winter is coming soon, It'll last a while." Frost taught me.

I nodded, and closed my eyes and focused on moving the water.

It moved, floating into the air, and then I tried focusing on freezing the water.

It took a few minutes, but I got it.

The water froze into a frozen snowball, glittery white.

"Whoa!" I said.

"Good job, It usually takes a jammer a while to do that." Hoot told me.

"It does?" I asked.

"Usually about a week or more." Frost told me.

"Whoa really?" I said.

After most of school......

"You are great at ice magic!" Frost told me as I floated a bit of water and turned it into ice again.

" Well, we have to go back home now, see you kater, Topaz! " Crypto said as Rust from earlier came back.

"Sorry for not saying hi earlier..." Rust said to me.

"It's okay." I replied.
