Chapter 58

<<<ANNA'S POV>>>

I stretched my leg out. I felt warmth and it was comfortable, I was in his embrace. I know Elsa wouldn't like him either. Let's just say he fits the arrogant jerk description.

"Yo, Kristoff! You up?"

I gasped and tried to hide beneath the covers, I couldn't ask Kristoff's arms were wrapped around me and I pretended to be asleep. Why does someone have to come here anyway?! The door opened and the guy gasped. The door closed and I opened my eyes, I elbowed Kristoff and he coughed.

"What the hell was--" I cut him off.

"Stop cursing! My child is listening to those words." I growled.

"Jeez, sorry! Anyway why did you wake me up?" He asked.

"Y-Your friend is outside." I muttered.

He grumbled and got up, he threw on some clothes and walked out the room to greet his friend. I think it was one of the other billionaires he is best friends with I only know the guys last name which is Haddock, I think?

"You are sleeping with your cousin's wife again?" Haddock asked.

"Yup. Sleeping in a bed with her, not the other one." Kristoff replied, nonchalant.

"That's a first for you! Normally the first one you can screw you--"

Thump. Did he just punch his friend? The first one he can screw, really? Was coming to Kristoff even any good for me or my baby? Maybe not. I threw off his top and got dressed into my own clothes, quickly grabbing my suitcase. I was going to make a bolt for the door when my stomach started churning.

"Really, now?" I groaned.

I walked into the bathroom and went through the whole morning sickness ordeal. I still have to deal with this for possibly another seven or eight months! Sickness can range different for pregnant women.

"He's gone now."

I startled and fell back bumping my head off the bath.

"Shit, are you--" I cut him off.

"Stop cursing around my baby!" I warned.

He ignored me and helped me up. My morning sickness ordeal was finally over and I dusted myself off. I grabbed my suitcase and began walking out of his bathroom.

"Are you wanting to go to the guest room now?" He asked.

"No, I'm leaving." I replied not looking at him.

"What? Why?" He exclaimed.

"Oh I wonder! I heard your little conversation with your friend." I replied with tears in my eyes.

He treated me like crap in High School and I let him do it again, what an idiot I am! He guarded the top of the stairs refusing to let me pass.

"I'll just take the lift if you don't move," I replied.

He didn't move and I walked over the lift - I pressed the button and I was downstairs, he was blocking me from leaving the lift.

"Let me leave." I sighed.

"No! I let you once in High School and used you like an idiot!" He sighed.

He actually remembered all that? Like an idiot, what does he mean? Is he actually regretting what he did to me?

"What do you mean like an idiot?" I asked.

He sighed and took a deep breath. He pulled out a necklace from his pocket. I gasped, it was the necklace he gave me in High School...the one I threw in his face after I saw him kissing that Alexa girl.

"I-I tried to give you this before you got with him..." He sighed.

"Why are you giving this back to me? I don't understand." I replied.

"I-I want this...u-us to be a thing." He gulped.

I stared at him in shock. He wanted me and him to be together? I remember how I stupidly cried over him for a month! I know that if I get with him...I'll be risking that again.

"There is something I want to know...do you promise to commit to me? That means no cheating, one night stands, drinking excessively and dancing with other girls." I said.

"I only ever did that with three girls actually, I just say things to my friends to look like a hot shot." He blushed rubbing his nape.

Three girls? That's me included then. I wonder who the other two are. Better not to dwell on that now.

"Y-You promise?" I stammered.

"I promise." He replied.

I hugged him and he hugged me back. He'd slipped the necklace on and I smiled, holding it in my hands.

"Beautiful...my Anna," He smiled.

I blushed and we went back up the stairs. He had a maid start hanging up my clothes in his wardrobe, his smile didn't fade it only grew bigger and bigger.

"Do you want to have a pool day? The weather is pretty nice out today!" He smiled.

"Sure!" I clapped.

<<<THIRD PERSON POV>>>

Over in Dubai a young woman was nursing her sick father with her little girl. He wasn't fit to walk by himself anymore and the young woman stared at her father with sorry eyes. The doorbell went.

"I'll be back, watch your Grandfather for me?" The young woman asked her daughter.

The little girl nodded and began reading to her Grandfather who had a large smile on his face as he listened to his granddaughter read to him. The young red-haired woman answered the door and to her shock it was him. After all these years.

"Y-You." She gasped with tears falling.

He wiped away her tears with his thumb. The young red-haired woman felt something cold on her cheek; on this left hand was a ring more specifically a wedding ring. Her emotions were mixed, she felt betrayed.

"Y-You married another woman?" She cried.

He came over to hug her but she pushed him away. He was trying to come inside, after all these years he just shows up like he owns this place plus with a wedding ring on his finger.

"Mommy, is everything okay?" The red-haired woman's daughter Melody called.

Her eyes widened in shock as he stared wide eyed with his jaw dangling. Her daughter looked at her father not knowing who he is.

"Mommy, Grandfather is calling for you." Melody informed.

"Daddy, I'm coming! I'll be back, don't think about coming inside!" She hissed to the man on the front door step.

The little girl was left with the man who looked an awful lot like her and he knelt down to her level. This didn't scare her it only gave her more courage.

"What's your name?" He asked the young girl.

"Melody," she said bravely.

He stared at the little girl in shock. He wasn't aware of ever getting his ex-girlfriend pregnant, he felt hurt. Why didn't she tell him?

"I'm back. Now Melody, could you go to your room please?" The red-haired woman asked.

"No, don't go." The man ordered.

The young woman looked at him in disgust and hid her daughter behind her.

"What so you can hurt her too? I don't think so, now leave!" She hissed.

The little girl grew nervous. She knew her Grandfather could be scary but never knew her Mother could be and then she got an idea. As the two argued, she crept away up the stairs and to her Grandfather.

"Melody, what's going on?" Her Grandfather coughed.

"T-There's a man outside talking to Mommy. He has black hair and strangely looks a lot like me." Melody said.

The Grandfather somehow managed to get to his feet. He felt rage for the man who knocked his daughter up and left her all alone to be a single mom. He weakly got to the elevator with the help of his granddaughter. He got the lift down and then his voice boomed.

"ERIC!"

Both Melody's mother and her father stopped arguing, she saw the fear in his eyes which quickly turned to shock as he saw shape my grandfather was in.

"Daddy, you shouldn't be--" Grandfather cut her off.

"You have some explaining to do, boy!" He hissed.

The man called Eric nodded and everyone took a seat in the living room. The little girl went upstairs to play in her room whilst the adults talked; she was actually cuddling her doll and listening sitting on the staircase to the conversation.

"You have some nerve to come back here, boy!" The elderly man hissed.

"Trust me I know I do, sir. I came to see how Ariel as doing, I missed her a great deal..." Eric sighed.

"So much that you married another woman?!" Ariel hissed.

Eric sighed and handed Ariel his wallet, it showed a photo of a little girl. A little girl with brown hair and green eyes, Ariel felt much worse now.

"And a child?!" She exclaimed.

"No, that is Daisy. My wife's daughter...I married my wife to give her daughter a father, her father is a good for nothing and I couldn't come back here after that bounty was put on my head." Eric explained.

The woman Ariel felt hurt. She had accused him of betraying her when secretly he hadn't, he felt duty to give another little girl what her daughter didn't have; a father.

"I really never knew that you got pregnant and if you did, I would have taken you with me to protect you. Only my parents had other plans and I couldn't bring you with me," Eric sighed.

"Still why did you come back? Are you going to be a huge scumbag and cheat on your wife?" Triton hissed.

"No. I have to meet with someone; Daisy's father to tell him details about my wife and her child then I'll be able to divorce and come back to my own life." Eric explained.

Later that night in a little pub sat the man Eric searching for the Daisy's father and finally spotted him.

"Rider." He said.

The man he called Rider looked up at Eric and he raised his brow.

"Why would you want to meet me?" He questioned.

Eric bought the photo out of his wallet and showed the man named Rider his daughter in a picture.

"Where is my daughter?!" He hissed, standing up.

"With my wife back in America. You see, I want my old life back and you want to be with your daughter." Eric reasoned.

The guy was all ears. After the platinum blonde on the beach denied that the little girl wasn't his daughter when he knew differently.

"The platinum blonde won't let me see my daughter," He sighed.

"Platinum blonde? That's Elsa, she's one of my wife's best friends." Eric laughed.

They both talked about what they could do to try and each get what they wanted. After Eric found out he had a child of his own, he immediately wanted to be in her life and be with the love of his life again.

"Do you have a picture of your wife?" Rider asked.

Eric pulled out his cellphone and showed Rider the picture of his wife. That's when it hit Rider, it was one of the nerdy girls in High School who were head over heels for him and they did it on prom night.

"Thanks, I hope you get that divorce soon and your family." Rider smiled.

He wasn't a jerk. He just wanted to be a part of his child's life like any good Dad would! Eric smiled and nodded leaving the club with a huge smile on his face.

"I'm sorry, Rapunzel. I can't be with you anymore, I want my old life back." He sighed.
