<<<MERIDA'S POV>>>

"Finally, it's bedtime!" I sighed in relief.

Today with my Mum was so weird! She's never been like that with me and I really, really enjoyed it! All I ever wanted was a hug from my Mum when I was down; not a lecture. It is a very beautiful night! Just as I was getting comfy in my bed, the door was being rammed into. What the heck is it with people trying or actually breaking down my front door?! I grabbed a baseball bat and opened the door, I struck the person in the ribs and they groaned. It was Hiccup?!

"What are you doing here?!" I hissed.

He got up, let himself inside and barricaded the living heck out of the front door. What the?!

"Excuse me but are you mad?!" I exclaimed.

He turned to me with an unimpressed and worried look on his face. He gently took my face and then examined it then my belly; I jumped back and held the bat up ready to strike again.

"Get out of my house!" I ordered.

"Whilst someone tries to kill you and my baby? Yeah, I'm totally going to do that." He glared.

My eyes widened in shock. How did he know about my baby?! I backed up far away from him as possible.

"B-Baby? What baby?" I laughed nervously.

"The baby that you're carrying." Someone else said from my bedroom door.

I screamed in shock and swung the bat, successfully knocking them out in the process. Hiccup stared at the man on the floor in disgust, he pulled out the pistol from the man's coat pocket and I gasped. Hiccup stared at the gun and then the man; I immediately knew what was running through his head.

"Don't go down to his level. He clearly came with the intention to kill...don't be the same monster he is." I said as I took the gun away from him.

He sighed and then dialled a number. I held the gun, not knowing what to do with it. Then the guy on the floor began to move, Hiccup pinched the pressure point on his neck and the guy went back to a passed out sort of phase.

"I've seen him before..." I whispered.

"Of course, you have. He's my father," Hiccup growled.

I flinched. So the person potentially trying to kill me is my baby's grandfather? Okay, that's messed up! Wait, why did he want to kill me?

"What's this problem with me?" I asked.

Hiccup then took a deep breath and looked out the window.

"Because you're pregnant with my kid and he wanted me to get married to Astrid for a deal for his company. He had the marriage planned since I was a kid actually," Hiccup laughed sourly.

Arranged marriage, huh? I'd know how that feels, too right. I sighed and took a seat, I bought out the wedding ring that MacIntosh had given me and showed Hiccup.

"What d'you know we are having the same problem!" I laughed bitterly.

He stared at the ring in anger. I tossed the ring across the room and it landed in the drawer, I sighed.

"He's out of town and I'll have to marry him when he gets back," I whispered.

It's weird that he suddenly disappeared though, oh well! More time to myself to be free! That's when I turned my head. Hiccup pulled out a ring; an engagement ring - silver with clear diamonds and one light green diamond in the middle.

"Marry me instead then." He said.

That sentence made my heart flutter. I did so badly want to marry him but he's already engaged to that Astrid. God, I hate her guts! She actually had the nerve to confront me at my best friend's surprise engagement like that too!

"You're already engaged." I replied turning my back to him.

He then came in front of me and went back to kneeling on one knee with the ring box open showing the beautiful engagement ring.

"I'm done with her! It was always you! Why do you think I hired you? I was trying to show you my emotions and ask you out, but it went a bit further than I intended." He laughed at the sat part nervously.

"Plus, you're pregnant with my baby." Hiccup added.

He said he had feelings for me, but what feelings? That little crush that you have on a girl since High School, the first date kind of feelings or...love?

"I have to know before I give you my answer, what feelings do you have for me?" I asked.

"I-I don't know how to describe them." He muttered, ruffling his air.

"I have this weird fluttery feeling in the pit of my stomach, your laughter is like melody to my ears, seeing you happy makes me smile and happy myself, seeing you makes my heart flutter...I-I don't know what it is." Hiccup stammered.

I got on my knees and gently pressed my lips against mine. He responded, the kiss was tender and sweet. I knew the feeling all too well and I pulled away.

"I know the feeling and I return it." I whispered.

"H-Huh?" He muttered confused.

"You're in love with me and I'm in love with you," I replied.

He stared at me in shock with a pale face. Maybe he isn't in love with me? I sighed, got off my knees and went to enter my bedroom until someone grabbed my hand. Tears streamed down my face as I turned around, Hiccup kissed me and we broke apart.

"I-I love you." He stammered.

Then a guy stood in the door with a white doctor's coat. Hiccup pointed to his Dad and the man nodded in response and took Hiccup's Dad away.

"Where is that guy taking him?" I asked.

"Mental asylum." Hiccup replied.

<<<RAPUNZEL'S POV>>>

I am barely managing to keep up with the mortgage for the house...Daisy wants to stay in this house so badly and I don't think I can keep up with all the payments! Eric left me to pay for everything...this has been Daisy's home since she was born...what am I seriously to do?

"Daisy! Can you come here please?" I called up the stairs.

I sat in the living room and prepared the tissues and cookies. Maybe I could ask my parents for some money? I don't want to depend on them though...what can I do?

"Yes, Mommy?" Daisy asked.

I turned my head as she stood in the doorway. I held up the plate of cookies and she immediately sat down for the cookies. She ate one smiling.

"Listen, baby. Mummy is having some problems, a lot of them recently..." I said, biting my lip.

"M-Mommy?" Daisy whispered with tears in her eyes.

"You need to know the truth..." I sighed.

She needs to know about me and Eric splitting up, about him not being her real father, who I'm her real father is and any questions that she wants to be answered. I seriously don't blame her for wanting to know her background if she does asked.

"Me and Eric split up," I sighed.

Daisy then dropped her cookie and started crying, I joined her on the couch and hugged her. How do I break it to her that Eric isn't her Dad either? I think I'll just break it to her slowly.

"Mommy, w-will Daddy ever come back?" Daisy choked out between sobs.

I stayed silent. I couldn't answer her question, he'd said he'd visit but I've heard nothing from him like he's moved across the globe. Daisy loves Eric like he is her own father I'm going to break that to her another day. I think the news of me and Eric splitting is breaking her heart enough as it is.

"Mommy, can I go to my room alone...please?" Daisy asked.

I sighed and let her go. She ran off sobbing her heart out.

"What can I do...?" I sobbed.

Maybe I'll leave the whole Eric isn't your father secret until last. The bills are high and honestly I think I'll have to move sooner rather than later...

"Someone help me." I sighed as I rubbed my forehead.

"How can I help?"

I jumped. Flynn stood in the doorway, how did he even get in here? Did I leave the door open again or something?

"Yes, you did." He replied.

I sighed and massaged my temples. What's next? I set the damn house on fire! He took a seat across from me.

"Are you okay? You seem really stressed." Flynn said worriedly.

"I just told Daisy that me and Eric split up and she's not doing too good." I sighed.

"And the other details?" Flynn asked.

"For another day." I replied.

Flynn then nodded his head in agreement. From the corner of my eye, I caught Daisy sitting on the stairs watching.

"Daisy!" I gasped.

Flynn jumped up in surprise and turned to Daisy who was sitting on the stairs. She walked down the stairs and raised her brow as she looked at her father.

"You're the man that helped me with hide and seek, aren't you?" Daisy asked.

Flynn smiled and nodded. Daisy gave him a hug which shocked him; he gladly hugged back I saw the huge smile on his face.

"Can we all play hide and seek together?!" She asked excitedly.

"I don't mind, how about you Rapunzel?" Flynn asked with a smile.

"Come on, let's play." I smiled.
