Manakuma
The girl swaggered through the crowded streets, and people stepped back in fear as they looked at her blood soaked gown. She didn't care anymore; her mission would soon be complete. She closed her eyes and felt some unseen thing. She opened her eyes and grinned; her purpose would soon be complete. She vaulted over the stone wall that surrounded the fountain at the centre of the city. It had been there for as long as anyone can remember. The girl waded through the fountains waters and felt the faded stone surface of the fountains centre. Police came, no doubt summoned by the fearful public but the girl swung her hand and they were flung away, making only a distant cracking noise as they crashed into a wall. The girl set her hands on a tiny notch on the weatherbeaten stone surface. She held up a crimson knife and plunged it deep into the notch. The stone cracked and a purple glow emerged. Purple claws burst from the fountain and triumphant "GENGAR's" could be heard below. Soon the fountain collapsed, revealing a gaping hole that led into nothingness. The girl nonchalantly strolled into the hole and dived in. The gengar flooded from the hole and menaced the populace. A small child huddled in a nearby pile of rubble cradling his unconscious father. The child stared at a purple claw reaching from behind the barrier and held his breath. The gengar stepped around and roared at the child. The gengar grabbed the child by the shoulders and projected nightmares straight into his mind, scarring him for life. All of a sudden a bolt of lightning struck the gengar, incinerating him, and sending bits of purple skin floating through the air. Raichu leaped from behind a crumbling girder and grabbed the shaking child, hauling him to safety. Marowak stood in the midst of a horde of gengar and was being overrun. He quickly released an explosion of shadow around him knocking back the horde. He sighed and took pleasure in the momentary respite, but a gengar pounced on his back, digging his claws into his flesh. Before the gengar could do much damage a root impaled through the gengar and tossed him aside. Karl rushed to marowak's side and raichu joined them. They stood back to back, fighting off the gengar horde. Eventually all was silent in the crumbling town centre. Purple embers blew through the air, and the distant noise of buildings collapsing could be heard. The ground was littered with corpses of people who just this morning had thought that this would be merely another day. The protectors of Bloomtown strode through the battlefield, to examine the hole that had been newly created. As they walked they saw gengar crawl meekly towards them, only to exhale their last breath. The trio gathered around the hole and stared in. Only to see something climbing, something hideous.
