Your POV

"Y/N?"

I get off my bed and head in the direction of Tyler's voice which calls my name.

"Yeah?" I reply, sticking my head into his room.

He sits at his desk, paper in hand.

"I want to play you a song."

I get excited. I love listening to Tyler sing.

"What song?" I softly ask as I sit on his bed.

He stutters a bit before replying, "I wrote it."

My heart thumps quickly and I feel a wave of warmth crash onto my body.

"Are you serious?" He nods. "Can I hear it?" He nods again and moves to his piano.

A smile creeps onto my face as he begins to softly play the piano.

"I know where you stand,
Silent in the trees..."

~Later that night~

"Please play it again," I beg as I lay on the end of my brother's bed.

"You're obsessed with this song, this is like the fourth time you've asked me to sing it."

"That's because it's my new favourite song."

"A song that beats Jump Around? Should I be scared?"

"No. You should feel proud. Just like I am. And just like I will be when I'm in a crowd of thousands -millions, even- of people singing and cheering along."
