(3rd POV)

'Is she gonna be okay?' Laura asked, concern visible in her voice as she gazed at her unconscious sister from over Leo's shoulder. The male sighed, continuing to press an ice pack against Megan's bruised neck.

'I don't know how much voltage they used in that collar. It wasn't enough to kill her, thank Arceus, but she might be delusional when she wakes up. Also seeing me here might scare her a little.'

'Because you're one of them?' Luke questioned bluntly. Leo winced.

'Yeah...' he strained before lifting the ice, examining the girl's wound again 'I suppose I should expect a punch from her?'

'From Megan? Probably.' Laura snickered slightly, despite her worry. She then glanced at the back of Leo's head with furrowed brows. 'Why do you help us, Leo?'

'It's my job.'

'Yeah but you...' she paused, thinking about what to say next 'seem different from everyone else here. They like watching us suffer while you- well... it seems to anger you. Hate to say it, but I can say the same about Sagittarius. You two, I don't know, don't seem to have any cruel intentions. So, why are you here?'

Leo was silent, and had even stopped caring for Megan during the older female's speech. He lowered his hands to his side, glancing at her from over his shoulder.

'Can it wait until I know it's safe?' He asked her with pleading eyes 'I'm sure Ein would tell you the same thing.'

'Ein?' Laura raised a brow

'That's Sagittarius' real name, isn't it?' Luke stated.

'Crap!' Leo slapped his hand over his mouth 'not again...'

'It's fine.' Luke gave him a small smile 'We had to hide our name's for awhile, so we know how hard it is.'

'You do...?'

'Yup. How hard do you think it was to convince your two year old daughter not to say 'Luke' out loud in the public?'

Leo laughed slightly, before going back to the treatment 'You have a point. Though, hopefully it'll be easier to tell you not to call Sagittarius 'Ein'.'

Laura laughed 'Oh, I'm so calling him that!'

'Laura.' Luke growled.

'Alright, alright! I won't.'

(Sun POV)

After meeting up with the others at the Pokémon center, we set off back to my house so we could discuss the plan in private. My friends were all confused, as I hadn't told them anything, but were good sports and followed me nonetheless.

'I'm back, mom!' I called as soon as I entered my house, taking off my shoes and walking to the kitchen. My friends followed suit.

'Welcome back, dear. Oh, and hello to you guys too.' Mom smiled, waving at the trainers behind me.

'Hello, Mrs. Elios.' They said in unison with matching smiles.

I frowned 'Why are you acting so surprised, I told you they were coming?'

'Technically dear, you only said you'd be having guests over and told me to make enough snacks for six people. You didn't tell me who was coming over.' Mom shrugged.

She has a point...

'Anyway.' She then turned to Gladion 'Gladion, how are you holding up dear?'

The male shifted uncomfortably. To be honest it seemed obvious how he was 'holding up'. His hair was a mess, he was paler than usual, he wore his hoodie around his waist for once, and there were dark circles under his now dull green eyes. However, despite all this he gave my mother a small polite smile.

'I'm getting there...'

Mom nodded with a sad look 'It's a tough time for all of us. But don't worry, she'll come back soon.'

'Yeah...' Gladion looked down, losing his poker face and pursing his lips together.

I frowned 'Mom.'

'Oh, sorry sweetie.' Mom put a hand over her mouth 'I didn't mean to make you upset.'

'Don't worry about it, it's fine.'

Lillie rested a hand on her brother's shoulder, as a way to show him he wasn't alone. He was grateful for that.

'Anyways.' I clapped my hands together 'I think we should all head to my room, we've got a lot to discuss.'

Rose shrugged, giving me an 'okay' before dragging Guzma to my room. Lillie, Hau and Ashley followed, leaving me and Gladion in the kitchen.

'Aren't you going to follow them?' I asked him.

He turned to me, attempting to make his signature frown but only able to make a sad one. 'Why exactly are we here, Sun? To give us false hope on getting the love of my life back?'

'What? No!' I responded louder than I wanted 'I called you here in hopes we can find out where Megan is.'

'How?'

I let out a breath 'I want to explain it to everyone so I don't have to do it more than once. But I will say that it has something to do with Leven.'

He growled at the name, but nodded 'Fine...'

'Great. Now go join the others, we'll be having two more people joining us soon.'

*Ding dong*

'Ah, speak of the devil, there they are now.' I patted Gladion on the shoulder before going to the door and opening it. 'Hey guys, glad you could make it!' I grinned.

(Megan POV)

'Mommy where are they taking them?!'

I fought against the people restraining my mom and I as my older siblings were carried off, kicking and screaming as they reached out to us.

'MOM HELP!'

'DON'T LET THEM DO THAT STUFF TO US!'

Tears rolled down mom's cheeks as she clawed at my father's arms, which were locked around her waist to restrain her.

'It's for the best, Mari.' He told her softly 'They will be the first step to the new, perfect world if this succeeds.'

'NO! BEN THEY COULD DIE IF YOU DO THIS!'

'Then they aren't good enough for the future, and certainly not worthy to be my children.'

Mom sobbed, her fighting became weaker as she watched her children moving further away from her. I, however kept fighting.

'Bring them back! Bring back Luke and Laura!'

'Megan,' Father began, handing his weeping wife over to another man and crouching down next to me. He took me from the people holding my arms and held me level to his face 'You are young, and don't understand how important this is to daddy. Your brother and sister will be a huge step towards the ideal future. And when it's time, you will too.'

I sniffled 'B-But what if they don't come back?'

'Then I made a mistake. I will correct it so the same doesn't happen to you.'

He said that so casually it was almost scary, but that wasn't why I was shaking. I quaked at my siblings' screaming in the distance, their agony clear in every shriek made. I reached up and covered my ears.

'They're hurt, daddy! Make it stop!'

'They'll thank me later.' The screaming grew louder as he spoke 'And so will you...'

He held me firmly, preventing me from squirming out of his grasp. I wanted to help them, I wanted their screaming to stop. I wanted their pain to stop. Yet, I couldn't move. The only thing I could do was listen to the agonizing cries from my siblings.

I sat up straight with a gasp, my breathing ragged as I slowly regained my vision. I found a man holding an ice pack to my neck, staring at me with widened eyes. He had caramel hair and charcoal grey eyes, and wore a lab coat.

Wait... lab coat

He's one of them?!

With a shriek I slapped his hand away, managing to backhand him in the nose in the process. He shot back, holding a hand up to his face and groaning in pain.

'Get your hands off me, knobhead!' I snarled, holding my bawled fists in front of me.

'Megan, wait!'

Luke was suddenly in front of me, holding onto my shoulders gently to calm me down.

'He's one of us.'

Laura rushed to the man, helping him sit up with a concerned look on her face. He chuckled, wiping his now bloody nose with his sleeve and leaning into my sister as she helped him stand. 'I guess I kinda deserved that...' He joked.

I frowned 'I'm sorry, who are you?'

'This is Le-'

'Ah ah ah!' I held up a hand to silence my sister 'I asked him. I'm sure a bloody nose won't stop him from answering a few questions.'

Laura rolled her eyes.

The man chuckled 'Indeed... Alright then, the name's Le-'

'Leo!'

The man flinched, and he, my siblings and I turned our heads to gaze at the bars detaining us. There stood two people, who I recognised as... Taurus and Capricorn I think their names were. They both stared directly at Leo.

'Grab the youngest.' Capricorn ordered 'Boss ordered us to take them to see her.'

Her? Who on earth are they talking about?

Leo's face visibly fell, but he obeyed and handcuffed me before I could say anything.

'I'm sorry.' I heard him whisper.

Luke and Laura were also handcuffed, and the three of us were lead down a hall which seemed much darker than the others. I gulped, feeling the hairs on my neck stand up as we moved closer to a large metal door.

Capricorn shoved Laura towards Taurus, who held both my siblings in place as the grasshead placed his hand on the scanner.

The door opened...

The three of us were uncuffed and shoved into the room, causing us to fall on our hands and knees. I glared back at the scientists who were guarding the doorway. Two smirked back and one looked away guiltily. (Do I really have to explain who?)

A gasp was heard from the middle of the room.

Luke, Laura and I snapped our heads towards the sound, only for our bodies to go completely stiff and our mouths to fall agape.

In complete sync, we called out to the all too familiar face in front of us.

'Mom?'
