- Valentine's Day -
Third Person's POV
Six months later
"Happy Valentine's day!" They shouted together, throwing their arms over one another and hugging. Jungkook giggled, squeezing his boyfriend tightly, burying his face in the crook of Taehyung's neck. Taehyung hummed, smiling as wide as ever, eyes shut.
"Can't believe it's already Valentine's day," The brunette said, running his hand through his hair as they pulled away. Jungkook reached into his suit, pulling out a rose from which he stole from Jin. Okay, maybe not stole, but he did take it without consent. "Is this for me?"
Jungkook gasped, hand over his heart. "Of course not! It's for Jiminie!" He said, walking past Taehyung with a giggle, hugging the silver-haired male behind his lover. Taehyung turned, utterly confused, gasping as he saw Jungkook hug their friend.
Jimin laughed, eyes disappearing when he smiled, letting go of Jungkook and turning the teen around. "Of course it's for you, Taehyungie!" The brunette laughed, taking the rose, holding it between his teeth, and taking Jungkook's hand in his own.
Jimin played a song and they danced, quite terribly right now because they were exhausted, but they had fun with it. Taehyung took the rose out of his mouth, tossing it into the air then catching it again. Jungkook just laughed, crashing their lips together in a fiery kiss.
"Making out already? It's only noon. Get a room, you two." It was Hoseok, a playful grin spread across his face as he slung an arm over Jimin's shoulder, lifting the male's chin and pressing their lips together. "Happy Valentine's day, sugar." Jimin blushed, smiling shyly.
Right, Hoseok, Jimin, and Yoongi all confessed. It was a weird three-way relationship, at first, but after a few weeks, it just seemed so natural that they embraced the couple how they were. After all, who were they, seven gays, to judge one another?
The world already did that enough anyways.
"Where's Yoongs?" Taehyung asked, pulling Jungkook by the waist, positioning him in front of himself. With Jungkook's back pressed to Taehyung's broad chest, he relaxed, admiring their friends who held love in their eyes for one another. "He's in his studio, setting up for the big performance tonight."
Right, they had a Valentine's day performance set up for their fans and the city of Seoul. It began at eight, ended at ten, leaving two more hours for them to enjoy their love holiday. "Right. Kind of forgot about that, honestly," Jimin said, hugging Hoseok.
"Don't forget, dinner is at six!" Taehyung shouted, pulling his lover out of the room they were in, heading to their shared door. Light flooded the room as they entered, windows open displaying the city that surrounded them. "I have a surprise for tonight, so be ready for it." Jungkook blushed at Taehyung's words, taking a seat on the bed.
"What is the surprise?" He asked shyly, thinking of something that Taehyung would come up with. Taehyung turned, noticing the change in tone, a smirk forming on his face when he saw Jungkook's red cheeks. "Baby," The brunette said, stalking towards the teen. "Did you think I had something intimate in mind?"
The teen blushed even more, burying his face in his hands. Was it hot in here? Or was it just him? "No..." He lied, the reply muffled by his hands which were pressed against his face. "Okay. Maybe? At least... I was hoping that it..." He trailed off, too embarrassed to continue his sentence.
Taehyung pushed the teen down onto the bed, arms pinning to the side of his head as the elder hovered over him. Jungkook gulped, eyes widening. "Is my baby boy needy for me tonight?" Jungkook's mouth went dry and his throat closed up, leaving his voice nonexistent.
Words. What were those?
"I- I-" Taehyung chuckled, pressing their lips together, falling onto the bed and turning Jungkook sideways. They laid there, hands behind each other's neck, fingers intertwined in their hair. Tongues battled and lips crashed together, fighting against one another for the ultimate winner.
Taehyung won.
As always.
"I love you," Taehyung said, brushing aside the teen's black locks, allowing him to see his face. Jungkook was still blushing, but he was smiling, staring into his lover's brown eyes. "I love you more," He said. Taehyung gasped, sitting up from the bed and tickling Jungkook.
The teen squirmed and laughed, eyes shut, legs kicking into the air. "Stop! Ah! Ha! Stop Taehyung!" He laughed and shrieked, shaking his head as the tickling torture didn't stop. Taehyung laughed, the pair falling to the ground with a thud, rolling around. They were already dressed in their attires for today, but at this point, their nice-looking suits had turned into a mess.
Who cared though?
"So let me get this straight," The board said, glaring daggers at the pair. "You two decided it would be a lovely idea to just roll around on the floor, to pick up the dust, and completely ruin your outfits?" They nodded. "I see," The head manager said, clearing his throat and stopping his pacing. "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!"
Okay so maybe someone did care.
That led to so much more than it needed to, but point is, an hour later, the pair had brand new suits and were separated from one another. Much to their dislike, of course. "Listen up. That performance begins tonight. You seven have been working extremely hard for it, and we're so proud of you. You'll win the crowd's hearts over tonight at the Valentine's performance."
The seven smiled, staring at the board. "Accompanying you at the performance is two other new groups that are rising up to the top, and fast. You may not see it as a competition, but when it comes down to the facts, it is. We don't believe in putting the pressure on you, more so than it already is, that's why we aren't pushing you to win this."
"Have fun," They said, surprising the seven. "You're in this industry because music is a passion, not a job, and not a chore. If you push yourselves to do something, to make it to the top by force, then you'll only grow tired. Have fun with it, enjoy what makes you happy." Jungkook smiled, meeting the boards' eyes.
Sounds awfully familiar, doesn't it?
And so, they warmed up, letting the hours fly as they rehearsed their songs, played some awful karaoke, ran around a bit, then finally settled down for dinner at a five-star restaurant. It was fun, more than it had ever been, and the seven were having the time of their lives.
As eight rolled around, they headed towards the back of the stage, appearing before the audience when they were called. "Hello! We are BTS!" Namjoon shouted alongside the others, mic in hand, eyes focused on the crowd. There were cheers and shouts from the audience, girls beginning to scream.
"Happy Valentine's day everyone! To express our undying love for all the support you've given us in the few months we've been together, we've prepared this performance especially for you!" The crowd went wild and they were only standing there. Imagine when they actually performed?
And so, the lights dimmed and they took their positions, getting themselves ready for their long-awaited performance. They hit every note perfectly, whether it was Taehyung's low notes or Jimin's high ones, they hit them.
The crowd was silent when they needed to be and screaming at other times. They were rookies, at least within the kpop community, but they sure didn't seem like it. They danced, moving with the music, dancing their hearts out as the beat filled their ears.
Spring Day was the last song performed on this night, the seven of them getting ready. Their hearts were heard in their ears, racing, thumping, pounding. Jungkook was filled with adrenaline, eyes shutting as his chest heaved up and down. The music started and they split, getting ready for the dance.
And when it was over, they walked to the front of the stage, bowing for the crowd and thanking them. "We love you! Happy Valentine's day!" They shouted, waving as they got off the stage, setting their mics down and hugging one another. "Happy Valentine's day, boys," Yoongi said, hugging the life out of Jungkook.
The others admired the two, rocking back and forth and Yoongi kept his tight embrace around the teen. "Have I told you how much I love you?" Yoongi asked, finally pulling away and smiling, wider than Jungkook had seen in weeks. The teen giggled, nodding.
"Every day, Hyung." The male's ears went red, a gasp emitting from him. "Don't expose me like that, kid," He joked, taking Jungkook's hand and squeezing it. "Really though, I love you, little brother. You're my idol, my motivation, my spirit." The teen flashed his bunny smile, squeezing Yoongi's hand in return.
"I love you too, Yoongles." Taehyung wrapped his arms around Jungkook's waist, pulling him in, chin resting on the teen's shoulder. "Do I have to tell you to back off what's mine, or do you know what belongs to what?" Taehyung joked, running his hands over the smooth skin on Jungkook's stomach.
"What's yours?!" Jin shouted with a gasp. "Excuse me?! He's mine! My child!" With that, Jungkook was snatched from Taehyung, pulled away by Jin, and running with him down the hall. They shrieked and squealed, running away from the rest of their friends, causing chaos in the once silent hallways.
They ended up parting ways when Taehyung caught up to Jin, practically tackling him to the ground. Jungkook and Taehyung hugged, running outside. "Wait!" The brunette shouted. "I have a surprise for you!" Jungkook turned, tilting his head and furrowing his eyebrows. "What?"
"Remember? I said I had something for you tonight." Jungkook's eyes grew wide, realization hitting him. So it wasn't... Yeah.. It wasn't. Taehyung smiled, turning Jungkook to face the building they emerged from. "Wait here. Don't move and don't peek." And Jungkook didn't, standing and staring at the wall ahead of him.
Then, a car engine rumbled, revving up and Taehyung's voice filled his ears. "Jungkook!" And Jungkook did turn, spotting a sports car that wasn't Taehyung's, nor any of his friends, sitting in the parking space directly in front of where he was standing. Taehyung got out, engine still on but the car parked, and tossed the keys into the air.
The teen caught them with ease, looking at them, mouth dry and heart racing. "Happy Valentine's day, my love." Tears fell from Jungkook's eyes, slowly flickering upwards to meet the brunette's. Taehyung smiled, opening his arms for the teen to walk into.
And Jungkook certainly did. "Taehyungie... I... you didn't have to do this for me..." The male just shrugged, pulling Jungkook into a sweet kiss. Their lips crashed, moving in sync with one another and creating a passionate, memorable kiss outside under the stars.
"For you, I'd do anything." Jungkook let out a little laugh, more tears wetting his porcelain skin. "Besides, you need a car to put that license of yours to use." Jungkook giggled at that, looking at his lover with watery, glossy eyes filled to the brim with love.
"I don't deserve you," He said, leaning into Taehyung's soft and gentle touch. "Mm," The brunette hummed, "but you do, baby. You deserve everything you've been gifted with up until this point, and you most definitely deserve whatever you'll receive in the future." Taehyung's fingers were under Jungkook's chin, gently lifting it up.
"You deserve me, just as much as I deserve you. Now, shut that pretty little mouth of yours and take the first drive of your life in your brand new convertible." Thus leading the pair to get into Jungkook's car, where he gasped and turned to his lover.
"Is this the Corvette Stingray? The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray?!" Taehyung smirked, pulling his seatbelt over himself and nodding. "Hey, I know what my boyfriend likes." Jungkook made a noise, similar to a squeal, putting the car in drive and taking off.
And so they made it all the back to the dorms, high off adrenaline and drunk on love. They stumbled into their dorm room with Taehyung turning around and shutting the door. The click of the lock was heard, then, it was the soft thud of Jungkook's back hitting the walls.
"Now, let's make that wish of yours a reality."
