There are already two versions of the story, neither published in any way.

The first followed a group of dinosaurs surviving the K-T extinction. First draft was a T. rex and raptor, second draft included a Quetzalcoatlus. It was really weird and involved them getting stranded at sea on a floating raft and ending up in South America? And a giant Carnotaurus was involved? It was very weird.

The second was a graphic novel (second one I ever did), following a cold-hearted tyrannosaurus mother who protects her only child in the face of impending death. That one was definitely better, and while it was never finished, it had a really really depressing ending where the baby freezes to death, and I never really fully decided on how the mother died, but one involved her starving herself, another involved her being killed by a separate meteor (Honestly glad I didn't finish it because the mother's death was just ridiculous)

Anyway, third version? Combine the two! Mother tyrannosaurus raises a baby Dakotaraptor or Acheroraptor (still gotta decide) as the world falls apart around them, and they fight against all odds. Like the last one, may be a graphic novel, may be a story. We will have to see.

EDIT: Role has been reversed. It will follow a mother dakotaraptor looking after a baby tyrannosaurus.
