Me and Cubone had been waiting at the exit for a long time, and we could make out the outlines of the creatures staring through the hole, shying away from the light of day. Then we saw the glint of something metal deep inside the cave and two of the creatures fell down, writhing in agony. Out of the cave came Bobby, followed by a pawniard. Night was falling and the creatures were growing bolder, and venturing further out the cave. Suddenly, a boulder whizzed past us and covered the hole. Hands twitched from underneath the boulder, then stopped. We looked ahead. There was a cloaked man riding atop an onyx. The onyx dug into the ground and lifted another boulder, then threw it at us. We jumped out of the way. "I guess this is our first Pokémon battle" Bobby said. "Yeah guess so". I looked at Cubone blankly "Umm... errr... use tackle?". Cubone rolled his eyes and charged into battle, whacking boulders away with his club. Pawniard came after, using his agility to dodge the boulders. Cubone head butted the onyx but fell backwards, disoriented. Pawniard used the onyx's body as a staircase then slashed onyx's eye. Onyx roared in pain and flailed around, sending both pawniard and onyx's rider flying. Onyx's rider cursed under his breath and summoned onyx to pick him up. The mysterious figure yelled back at us "This isn't over!" As he rode into the setting sun. We sat back in amazement at the life changing experiences we've had in the last twenty four hours, as we stared into the sunset.
