JACOB POINT OF VIEW

I look across the room to come face to face with Zack, Zeke, and Zeth.

"What are you guys doing here?!" I shouted too shock to say anything else for the moment.

Why are they here? Did they know we would be here?

How would they know that?

Do they still trust me?

"We should be asking you that since it is our house." Zack replied calmly. Something bothering him, but what?

Does he know I'm helping out Emma?

"When did you guys move in?" I asked receiving a look from Emma. Yeah there's more important questions needing to be answered.

"Why do you guys even have guards?" Emma asked. Zack smiled sweetly to her. "You can never have too much slaves." Their worse then I thought they've gone completely insane.

"You're..." Emma started voice rising venomously, but I stop her before it's too late.

"Emma enough." I replied so harshly it surprised even me, but not her. She stops, but not from glaring daggers at Zack.

"No no, let's hear what she has to say." Zack said glaring back at her daring her to do so. She looks over to me, which at this point I'm silently begging her to stop.

"I won't waste my breath on you." She replied to him resulting to him clenching both his hands into fists.

The three of them steps dangerously closer to her, which I step in front of her stopping them in their tracks. A look of betrayal crosses their faces for a moment, but quickly was disguised as amusement.

"You'll side with her instead of us?" Zack asked daringly.

EMMA POINT OF VIEW

I look over to Jacob though he doesn't say anything he doesn't have to, I see the pain that he's in. These villains has been his friends for a long time maybe forever to...to choose between someone who needs help, and his closest friends it's hard. What if his friends need him? I know I'm a hero, but even villains have friends and him choosing me over them must be killing them as well not just Jacob.

Am I being selfish if I want him to choose me over his friends?

Yes, I am.

I walk around Jacob so I can face him.

He looks confused for a moment, but he just focuses on his friends instead of me. I have to admit my back towards them is scaring me, but I have to do this for Jacob.

"Jacob I'm good, I'll just watch my back. If he's after me that means I must encounter him somewhere in time. Go with your friends." He tares his glare away from his friends to mine his body goes rigid.

"No! You don't know what your talking about, I didn't come all this way to give up." Jacob said frustrated.

Why does it matter so much to him anyway?

I was about to respond when we heard the door burst open making the five of us jump up alert. What I was seeing surprised me, people from the hero facility came towards us stopping in the middle of the room. What surprised me more was all five of us having our swords out towards the intruders like we're working together...yeah, that would never happen in million years not with Zack anyway.

"Well after all this time we finally found you, Emma." I glance at that one guy who I was mainly battling with, who just spoke up.

"I'm surprised you didn't find me sooner. You're losing your touch." I shot back for that brief moment completely forgot about those villains right next to me it was just him and me.

"Well, if it brings you any comfort before we take you, you did hide well from us, not well enough." The small flame in me just burst into a forest fire. The hold on my sword tighten much to his amusement.

"Emma! Who are these people?" I look over to Jacob, then my eyes shifted towards the Z's villains. I can't tell him in front of the Z's villains.

Z's villains?

They all have Z names: Zack, Zeth, and Zeke

"Allow us to tell you." The man replied.

"I'm Aaron whose been working at the hero facility for thirty years..."

"We didn't ask for a background story just tell us." Zack replied bored, but looks interested.

"I was getting there! Out of all my years we never came across someone who did what she did." Aaron shot back at Zack.

"How about you try to take me away skipping out this whole ridiculous story of yours." I replied ready, but of course we don't see eye to eye.

"Ridiculous story, huh?" Aaron challenged.

Please he doesn't know anything.

"Yes," I answered.

I look at the scene in front of me.

The Z villains looks over at the heros with dislike, but doesn't challenge obviously because they want to hear "Aaron story."

The heros who are Aaron, Lisa, and ten others are just staring at me, and the villains with great dislike. Their glares hold venom in them...what else is new.

I just noticed that Jacob, and me are sort of back to back kind of more like a shoulder to shoulder position, but I could tell Aaron is that more furious giving a hostile look towards us.

"Ugh, could you just explain the story or will we have to kill you." I was surprised because that came from Zeke not Zack.

Zeke, the one who barely talks threatens twelve heros!

The heros all tighten their swords.

"You really think you could beat us, three against twelve?" Lisa asked starting to laugh.

I can't believe I'm doing this, but I guess I have to their for me anyway.

"Make that five against twelve..." Everyone in the room fell silent all staring at me.

I walk up to the heros until I'm only ten feet away from them.

"You guys came here for me, so I don't understand why your threatening them..." a dude in blonde hair hold his hand up for interjection, but I don't let him.

Who holds their hand up anyway?

"Hold it, goldilocks. Yeah sure they threaten you first, but let's not forget they are villains we heros don't get along with them..."

"Then why are you all buddy buddy with them?" Aaron asked curiously.

I look back towards the villains my eyes found Zack whose face expression unreadable...yeah no.

"I'm not buddy buddy with anyone not even my own hero side. If you knew me you would know every single hero except my father, the hero director, hated me so I handle things alone. I was better off alone anyway, but when you accepted the challenge from the villains, it just reminded me that your here for me remember?" I asked them.

They don't respond, their done talking. Aaron came towards me sword out, for the first time tonight I smiled. This makes more sense then that nonsense I was talking about ten seconds ago, but it's still true no matter how crazy it sounds it's all true.

Soon the room became a battle field. The five of us working together to stop these heros.

Did a million years just pass?

Lisa comes, and now I'm battling the two of them both who fight extremely well.

Lisa sword drills into my arm, and she goes for another strike, but someone sword blocked it. My sword being face to face with Aaron sword I look over to see who it was. Jacob.

Now he's fighting Lisa. "Thanks for that. How is it that you had time to block that blow? Not that I'm complaining."

Aaron strikes become more and more challenging when I was done talking. What his problem?

"Let's just say the three guys I was challenging earlier are knocked out."

What?! How did he do that so fast?

I kick Aaron across the room buying me around fifteen seconds if he's running back this room is huge.

I look around. Zeke challenging his three guys still, and Zeth his three guys, but they look like they got this handle.

I look over to Zack two unconscious on the ground, but the third guy drills his sword in his right arm.

Zack doesn't have his sword...ugh I got to help him.

I run up to him, but he doesn't notice me. "ZACK!" I shouted at him he kicks his person away that'll last only a few seconds before he comes back.

"What?!" He shouted back. I throw him my sword running towards his, but just before I could reach it Aaron kicks my arm away. Groaning in pain I face Aaron, and find myself being punch in the face no doubt going to bruise. It's already creating a massive headache. He kicks my stomach making me want to throw up. Good thing I didn't eat anything.

He pulls me up, and presses the sword against my throat.

"Listen up, villains." Everyone stopped their battles. Jacob looked furious, but Lisa's holding him back.

"Your going to let us go. You can go back to your normal lives of destroying things, and everything will be the way it should be." For some reason no one moved.

"That sounds amazing. However, it was you guys who came into my home without our permission. How about this you leave the girl, and you leave our house." Zeth replied to Aaron response. I was a little surprised, but Aaron was just furious at that response.

I stepped on his foot making Aaron step back. I run towards Zack sword ignoring the blood on it, and face it towards Aaron.

"Leave now, or I can't promise it will end well for you." I threatened towards Aaron. He drops his sword, and holds his hands up in surrender.

He walks over to a group of unconscious people, and throws three of them over his shoulder like it was nothing. Others do the same until every unconscious person is picked up.

They take their leave slowly.

Once they leave I look around to see four people staring at me shocked.

"What are you guys looking at?" I asked suddenly feeling a lot a pain. I look down to see blood all over covering my arm, and stomach. I start falling down this endless black hole, but I heard a voice.

"No worries, you're going to be okay."
