"Adam." I feel terified. I'm casually talking to someone that tried to kill me. Tears filled my eyes as i was thinking i he would try to kill me again. "Yes, Melon?" As he said me name, he had a look on his face. He looked happy...? "Tell me.. why am i here?"

He laughed. "Well, your here because of you father."

-Flashback-
"Papa, why do you have to go?" A younger version of Melanie sobbed.
"I'm sorry kiddo, daddy has some.. 'professional bussiness' to take care of." "I don't want you to go! Mommy doesnt want you to go either! Right, mommy?"

My mother stood there, leaning on the wall. She already had said bye to Papa.  "Yes, sweetie. I don't want your father to go but, your father needs to work, okay?"
I looked at my father. "Okay.. Papa, when will you come back?" I felt extremely sad. "Lets say.. when you want to 17. Your mother will be with you to see me to. Your 11 now. I'll see you within 6 six years. 2 weeks after you turn 17."

My father hugged my mother and I one last time. "Bye, i love you both!" My father said as he went out the door. My mother walked to her room.

That night i couldn't sleep. I could hear faint sobs that i knew belonged to my mother. I looked at the clock, seeing that it was around 2:30 am. The next morning my mother looked drained. She had baggy, puffy eyes that didn't compliment her clear, tan complexion at at. "Put on your dress dear, were going out."

"Where is my father then.? I demand to see him, Adam."

I look at Adam, wanting to murder him. If he was joking, and my father wasn't here, i kill him. "Follow me." Adam walked out the room. I looked at the food he brought me and pushed it. It smelled of the same poison he used to kidnap me. I chuckled.

" Jackass. " was the first word i thought. I quickly walked out the door. I catch up to Adam. Catching my breath, i soon encounter a room with my fathers name. ' Mason Sherlock.' "Well, open the door." Said Adam, smiling at me. I turned the golden doorknob, the door slowly creaked open.
