It's been 11 years since the death of my family. I lived by myself in the woods for nine years. I taught myself to hunt, to survive, mastered my powers, and I mastered my swordsmanship, acrobatics too! I trained myself to master anything I could in my limit. And once I mastered one thing, I'd push my limit to master another. When I was ten, people found me hunting and took me to the orphanage. I fought them off but they shot me with a tranquilizer. I'm apparently "allergic" to drugs. They give me a massive amount of pain. That's how they got me. It took an agonizing three hours for it to wear off. Later that week, a couple took me in and taught me everything that I would need to know in their world. I learned English in a month, and all their traditions, school subjects, ethics and all the important junk. They took me to the doctors to get my vaccines but they learned the hard way not to. After the first shot was done, I was paralyzed for almost a week with pain. My stepfamily gave me a new name and they're Chinese. I find that really useful because that's my native language was Japanese. I'm in middle school, my best friend is Marry, no crushes yet. The boys are way too annoying. This is where I am now in life. I'm now a regular 12 year old middle school girl. My parent let me "play" in the woods, more so I'm training still. I don't want my reflexes to go away. They could come out in handy like now. Welcome to my new life.

"Hi, Mom! Hi, Dad!" I shouted as I entered my house.

"Hi Kat! How was your day?" asked my mom as she rushed to go out.

"We're both going out to pick up your brother. Do you want to come?" called my dad.

"Nah! I have to finish my homework." I smiled and waved them a goodbye. I watched the car drive away and crashed on the couch. I already finished my homework and wanted to finish an episode of Stranger Things with some peace. I grabbed a Halo and peeled it neatly while waiting for the episode to load. Hi! My name is Kathyrn Chung and welcome to my bloody world!

Lets's review who I am. My name is now Kathryn Chung. I live with my stepfamily because my birth family was murdered by you know who. I still hold a grudge against him. I freaking hate him. Sadly he is still alive. I mean demons live for thousands of years (if they don't get eaten first).

After binge-watching the entire first and second season of Stranger Things; and watching the entire anime called Black Butler: Book of Circus, I realized my family wasn't home yet. It was nearly seven. I took out my phone and set my iPad down as I dialed my parents. None of them answered. I called each of them three times. Still no answer. That's not good. My mom probably had her phone on silent but my dad never silenced his phone. I was worried but I decided to clear my thoughts and go for a run in my wolf form. I slipped out into the woods in my backyard. I morphed into a wolf and went out on my usual trail.

SNIFF! SNIFF! Yum! I thought to myself. I had caught a scent of a healthy rabbit so I decided to stalk it in my cat form. It wasn't long before I found it munching happily on grass. I gingerly placed one paw in front of another so the bunny couldn't hear me. When I was in range of a pounce, I wiggled lightly on my hunches and pounced. I landed a swift blow to kill it and dragged it up a tree to eat.

Licking my jaws after a satisfying meal, I curled up comfortably on the branch and dozed off. I completely forgot about my family.
