Tomoe's POV

Tomoe saw Purple Eyes stop in mid-air, looking for something. He cast a glance behind them and saw no black flames. In fact, Tomoe couldn't even smell smoke! Panic started to build up in him as he frantically searched for the flames of darkness. Suddenly, a huge sense of dread washed over him. Tomoe turned around to see him at Purple Eyes neck. He jumped off his chariot towards just as Purple Eyes knocked Cole off of her.

"Oof!" Tomoe groaned as Cole fell on top of him and dragged him to the ground. They landed hard on the ground, knocking the wind out of Tomoe. In his daze, he saw Purple Eyes zoom away. He shoved Cole off of him and stumbled after her. All of a sudden, Tomoe stopped dead in his tracks. He didn't know why, but he couldn't move his body. Tomoe tried to get his legs moving again, but he didn't budge. Huh? What the hell is going on here? Why won't my body move? Grrr! Move dammit! I have to find her! Then, his body started to move but stopped abruptly. His arm raised up to his face and slapped him.

"Good. You're finally under my control. Took me long enough." Cole came up to him and his arm around Tomoe. Tomoe wanted to throw his arm off , but he control his body. His body trembled as he tried to fight for control over his body. Cole threw his head back and laughed as he watched Tomoe struggle.

"Naive little fox. You can't break my spell even if you wanted to. In case you didn't know, I'm a lot more powerful than you." Cole petted Tomoe's head and stroked his furry ears. Tomoe growled in his throat but couldn't open his mouth. Cole laughed again.

"Poor Tomoe," cooed Cole," wanna go back your baby sister? Well then go fetch!" Baby sister? What? Ack! Tomoe's body took off after Purple Eyes. A fire chariot appeared in front o him and he hopped in. God dammit! Body, why won't you obey me? Tomoe though as he unwilling chased after Purple Eyes. As he continued to fly, he saw Purple Eyes and so did the chariot. Tomoe caught up to her and tried to call her name but couldn't move his lips. She stopped a few meters in front of him, looking for him. The chariot slowly crept up on her and stopped a centimeter away. The chariot quieted it's flames as it waited to pounce. Purple Eyes turned around and almost flew into him.

"Jeezes! You scared me! Next time tell me that you're following me!" She exclaimed. I'm sorry, but I can't control myself! Tomoe pleaded with his mind. Purple Eyes stared at him, trying to get reaction. Purple Eyes! Listen to me! Please!

"Um...hello? Anyone home?" Purple Eyes waved her hand slowly in front of his face. Tomoe returned her gesture with a blank stare. As she continued to wave her hand, Tomoe caught it by the wrist. He soon felt a burning sensation through his hands. Oh no. He thought to himself. Tomoe struggle to hold it back. He didn't want to hurt his friend's little sister. The only remaining survivor. A tear rolled down his cheek and Purple Eyes saw it. Please Purple Eyes. I'm sorry. Colorful Foxfire sparked from his hand. Purple Eyes screamed in pain and tried to wrench her arm away.
