"Hurry!" Allgera yelled, her baby girl in her hands. The boat rocked as another Monstrous Nightmare hurled a fireball at the ship.

Asmund hurried his other daughter, Astrid, to the other side just in time. Astrid looked at the dragon angrily, ready to throw her axe at it. Her father quickly held a hand out, "Astrid, there's no use fighting it! We have to abandon ship."

Astrid looked from the dragon, then to her father. She sighed and pulled her axe back down.

Suddenly, a loud thud hit the deck hard. Allgera stumbled, and suddenly she accidentally dropped the baby. "Arsyn!!" She yelled as the baby fell into the ocean.

Asmund grabbed her by the shoulders, "Ally, we have save the last of the family. I'm sorry but we have to leave her."

"No!" Astrid yelled, "what about my sister?!"

Asmund knelt down to face her, "we'll find her, I promise." Astrid looked up at him," promise daddy?"

He smiled, "I promise."

Astrid looked back at the ocean, then nodded.

In a few seconds, the Hofferson family rowed away in a small lifeboat, their ship sinking in a distance.

On a piece of driftwood, a small, wet bundle washed up at the beach, where Greg was fishing. He looked up from his work seeing it, curious. He walked closer, pulling away the blankets. He gasped, as he saw a small sleeping face peek out.

"Well hello little one," he whispered. "Looks like you'll be coming home with me."

And with that, he carried the baby back to the village.
