"What time is it?" Mitch grumbled to me as I shook him awake. Our flight was about to land.

"Almost six. I was thinking, maybe you and I could go get dinner after?" I asked him.

"I would love to go get dinner." I heard Auston mumble on the other side of me.

"Not with you, doofus."

"Doesn't matter, I'm invited now." He said quietly.

"Then you should wake up or I'm leaving you on this plane." I said and both Auston and Mith woke up and stretched their arms.

"Where should we go for dinner?" Mitch asked me.

"I heard New Orleans Cajun Seafood is good, a friend told me about it the last time she visited." I told them both. 

"I've heard of it, it's also only twenty minutes from the hotel." Auston pointed out.

"Where are we even staying?" I asked as I realized I never found out.

"The Ritz Carlton." Mitch said proudly as the plane landed.

"Are you insane? I don't have money for that Mitchy." I started to freak out a bit. "I only just got my minimum wage paying job!"

"That's why I'm paying for you. But there is a catch, we'll be sharing a room." Mitch said as he stood up to get off the plane. "Well time to go!"

   After dinner, everyone decided to part ways. Auston and Will decided to explore the area whereas Matt and Sydney wanted to go to a beach. Nikita and Maisie decided to go right to bed, which left Mitch and I to figure out something to do.

"We could go catch a movie?" Mitch suggested.

"I don't know, are there any good ones out?" I hesitantly asked him.

"I really have no idea. Want to just go back to the hotel and watch one?" He asked with a shrug.

"First we need snacks though." I told him.

   Once we had our snacks, Mitch and I got a cab back over to the hotel. Mitch did, fortunately, get us two separate beds. Two queen sized beds at that. We temporarily pushed our beds together so we could sit together to watch the movie. "What do you want to watch?" He asked me as he turned on the TV.

"Civil War."

"I haven't seen that yet." He told me and began to search for it.

"How? It's great, I watch it all the time with Maisie." I said as I brought the blanket up to reach my waist.

"I don't know, I guess I'm a bit caught up in hockey." He shrugged and turned it on.

"Well start getting caught up in superheroes too."

"Will do." He said as the movie started. "Now what is it about?"

"Mitchy, shut up, it's starting."

   I woke up the following morning to Mitch's arm around me, our beds still pushed together and Civil War still on the screen. I tried to get out without him noticing me but I must have moved a bit too much because the next thing I knew, he was awake and sitting up.

"Oh, did we fall asleep?" He groaned and rubbed his eyes.

"Guess so, I'm going to get dressed and go get breakfast." I told him and rushed off to the bathroom.

I called Maisie while I was in there, "Please pick up." I spoke to myself.

"Hi, you've reached Maisie. Please leave a message and I'll get back to you."

I hung up the phone and sent her a text instead, <meet me by the pool, i have something to tell you>

   Once I was dressed in a simple pair of shorts and a white tank top, I left the hotel room with as little interaction with Mitch as possible. I grabbed something to eat while I waited for Maisie to text me back. My bathing suit was underneath so when I was done with breakfast, I was able to just change quickly by the pool.

<omw> Maisie finally sent back to me. Within five minutes, she was sitting next to me by the pool.

"So what is it?" She said as she dunked her feet in.

"Last night I fell asleep next to Mitch while watching a movie and now I feel weird about it. I have no idea what to do or if he is getting the wrong idea now."

"Seriously? I had to leave bed early for that? So what, it's no big deal. Just act like nothing happened and it'll seem like nothing happened." She told me and slid the rest of her body into the pool.

"Are you sure? I left as soon as I got up so he couldn't say anything."

"Well then you made it a big deal and now he will feel like it's a big deal. Bottom line, you're kinda screwed. If you acted normal, he would have thought it was nothing but now he probably thinks you like him."

*Mitch's POV*

   After Opal left, I left to go see Auston and talk to him about it. I didn't think it was a big deal but now that she left like that, it seems like it is. It's not like I forgot or anything last night, I just didn't think she would mind so when she fell asleep, I didn't bother to wake her up just to switch beds.

"Matts, are you up?" I said as I peeked my head into his room.

"Yeah, hold on." I heard his voice come from inside. I shut the door and waited for him to come out.

"What is it?" He asked as he walked out of his room.

"Well last night, Opal and I watched a movie in our room-"

"Oh, did you forget to use protection? Don't worry, we'll love the little Marner." Auston said as he walked down the hallway with me.

"No! No, Matts, but she fell asleep next to me and I didn't want to wake her up just to switch beds so I figured it was no big deal and fell asleep too. Turns out it is a big deal, to her at least, because she left in a rush this morning and barely said anything to me." I said confused.

"Dude, she likes you. Why else would she be embarrassed?" He said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Yeah, well, here's the thing. I asked her out the other night and she rejected me but I didn't want to tell you guys." I mumbled quietly, hoping he wouldn't hear me.

"Maybe she's playing hard to get then?" He shrugged and opened the doors to the pools. "Oh look, there she is now." He said with a smile and pointed towards her.

"Call the rest of the guys, I don't want to be alone with her right now." I told him and rushed back inside. "I'll get Willy and Nikita, you get Marty and Syd since they'll probably take a bit to wake up."

   Once the rest of them were downstairs and ready to go swimming, we finally got to the pools where Opal and Maisie still were. I got in immediately and swam over to Opal who still wouldn't go in.

"It's not cold, O." I told her and splashed some on her leg.

"Doesn't mean I want to go in." She retorted.

"Too bad for you." Will said behind her and pushed her in. The rest of us laughed while she sulked but stayed in.

"Maybe next time you should just get in on your own." Will yelled out to her and she started to crack a smile.
