Buttercup was rumbling on about something but X thought's were about Four.

"X? Earth to X? Heelloo?" Buttercup's voice interrupted his thoughts.

"H-huh?"

"You were zoning out. Is everything okay?" Buttercup asked with worry.

"Um..y-yeah!" X said.

Buttercup frowned. "I can tell when someone's lying..and you're obviously lying! Now tell me what's wrong!"

X sighed. "I'm worried about Four.."

Buttercup kept a straight face as her brows furrowed. "I must not let my queen down."

"I..need to know at least if he's okay.."

Buttercup huffed out of her nostrils. "...There is one way."

X watched as Buttercup slithered over to a low table with a violet fabric over it. She moved it carefully to reveal a crystal ball.

X walked over to stand on the other end.

Buttercup wrapped her tail around the crystal ball. She closed her eyes and began to hum a familiar melody.

The crystal ball eventually became foggy and murky. Shortly, the fog cleared up and inside the crystal ball, X saw Four standing over a cliff, staring at the dark blue water with heavy tears falling from his eyes. "Why did it have to be him?! Why couldn't it be me?!" Four sobs were like a echo as the moon shone above him.

He looks so miserable.. X thought as he teared up.

Buttercup unwrapped her tail, her eyes were fixed on X.

"I.." X wiped away his tears. "I have to go see him.."

"The queen told you to stay here. She'll be right back." The door suddenly opened and Pandora walked in. She closed the door behind her.

Buttercup turned to her queen. "Your majesty.." She bowed her head.

Pandora dipped her head at the small snake. She turned her gaze to X. "You want to go home, outsider. I know..try to get some rest and we'll see.."

"Can..you at least tell Four I'm alright..?" X asked her.

Pandora shook her head sadly, "Me and Buttercup aren't allowed on your home land. We'll get you home as soon as possible, dear."

X nodded. "I..understand."
