X walked into the small hut. Ozzy was lying in his bed, licking his leg. He stopped to glare at X when he came in.

"I brought you something." X laid the cooked slab of meat carefully next to his talons. Ozzy sniffed the piece of meat.

Ozzy teared some meat off. X caught a glimpse of his teeth as he devoured it. Braces? X thought.

Ozzy seemed offended, "I can read minds you know." Ozzy growled. "My father got them to keep my figure. As I am the prince of the shadow kingdom." Ozzy added.

X's eyes widen. "Really? But why are you here?"

"I..ventured outside. My father forbids me to go out to the outsider world." Ozzy replied. "Now, you don't mind, I would like some sleep."

"O-of course.."

Ozzy curled up into a ball. His wavy black tail curled around her talons.

X walked out of the hut, he was surprised to see Four waiting for him outside. "How is he?" Four questioned.

"He's alright." X replied.

"Great. I just finished up the contest. Let's go back to the cabin, X."

X sighed and followed him. What would he say if I told him Ozzy is a prince? Would he hate me even more? But why would he hate me for telling him something?

Four opened the door for X. X hesitated for a minute before walking inside. Four closed the door behind him and walked inside.

X walked into his room. He closed the door and opened a drawer. He picked up an emerald, sighing. He put it back and he laid on his bed.
