Ok so both players start off each with a deck of 40 cards and more with no more then 4 copies of each card and they both start out with 20 life and 0 victory points. The first turn has 5 phases prep phase but they skip their draw and they gain 2 Shen then they move to their main phase where they can play their cards then the battle for any creatures able to attack them they move to their sub phase which is exactly like the main phase then the end phase the game goes on but from then on the prep phase now let's you draw a card unless told otherwise. All cards except quests cost Shen to play and you only get 2 per turn after you play a monster it can't attack till next turn unless it has the dash ability which lets it attack the turn it's played. Spells can be played any time as long as you have the Shen to pay for it . Objects have their own health just like creatures and must be targeted directly to destroy them. Quests can only be played when you have a creature to back it so you need 4 monster to have 4 or less quests and if you have 4 quests and if 1 monster dies and you have more quests than monsters you must return a quest to your hand.
