I jump off of the sister's lap to jump on the couch's arm and I look out the window to see very few to no people. I saw about twenty to thirty cats outside and I started meowing at the window. The confused elder sister looked at me as I was meowing at the window.

"what's wrong Nightmare?"the girl asked me in an unusual tone in her voice as if she was worried about my calls and I but I just ignored it.

I look at the open window with happiness and I jump off the couch and towards my freedom. I gracefully jump out the window while twirling until I land on my four feet then I run into the crowd of cats and I never felt more than ever. I look around the crowd of cats and there were ginger,calico,white,brown,but no cats that were black like me. I kept looking forward the color black and I finally saw a black cat but with unusual red eyes which I think was cool that was farther down the street. I saw a group of Siamese cats come up to me.

"wow you look so weird,"the cat mewed one cat.

"are you bad luck,"mewed another cat as they all laughed at me and I hissed at them as my fur was pricked up.

"look at her trying to scare us,"the cats giggled and they started to leave.

"don't get lost in the dark with that coat of fur,"said another one of the cats in the group and I felt like I straight up embarrassed myself big time so I lowered my head in shame.

"great,"I thought to myself as I went to an alley and I curled into a ball. I started to cry silently knowing that I was different from other cats and I am unusual.

All because of my fur color...
