Weeks
Kanan laid in the bed, feeling sick as usual. Ezra had been in a coma with the sickness for over two weeks, having a seizure everyday. But today, he hasn't had one so far.
Kanan's as about to get up to check on Ezra when he felt his chest tearing.
He grabbed the medicine they had gotten him and ate a pill, the pain slowly ebbing away. Suddenly, Ezra yelped out in pain and rolled off the top bunk, twitching and shaking rapidly on the floor.
"Ezra's having a seizure!" Kanan yelled as Ha raced in, staring in shock as Ezra taut he'd rapidly. "This is the worst one so far!" Hera gasped, sitting Ezra up.
Ezra only fell back over, twitching and shaking more rapidly. "Hera!" Kanan yelled in concern. "Working on it!" Hera yelled, plunging a syringe into Ezra's arm.
Ezra's shaking slowed and it eventually stopped. "He's safe. Barely." Hera panted, dropping the syringe. "Barely?" Kanan raised an eyebrow.
"Kanan, this is the worst one so far. He was on the verge of death!" Hera looked at him with cold eyes. "I'm gonna try to enter his mind again." Kanan insisted bringing Ezra onto his bed.
He set Ezra head on his knee and looked at his Padawan. He looked peaceful. At ease. Not stressed. "I'll be here." Hera said placing an arm on Kanan's shoulder.
Kanan closed his eyes and felt himself drift away from Hera.

Kanan found himself walking in a white void. "Erza?" His voice echoed endlessly into the blinding white. A blood curdling cry was his only answer, then darkness.

Kanan jolted awake to Ezra's electric blue eyes. "Ezra!" Kanan gasped, pulling him close. "Ow! That's hurts!" Ezra rasped. Kanan let him go. He sounded weak and tired.
"Kanan....what happened?" Ezra's face was pale, dark pools under his eyes. "Your still sick, and you were in a coma." Kanan said, helping him sit up.
"But, we're glad your ok." Hera said, smiling warmly. "Guys! Kids awake!" Hera called. The cere walked in, except Ashoka. Zeb placed a hologram down and Ashoka appeared. "I'm glad your awake, Ezra." Ashoka said.
"Thanks...." Ezra mumbled, leaning against Kanan. "But, about the cure." Ashoka went on, more seriously. "We found the three ingredients, but we can't find the last one." Everyone gasped in shock, except Ezra.
"What sickness...." Ezra said, already half awake, half asleep. "The Jedi sickness. Kanan said Ventress gave it to you." Ashoka replied. "Wait. If you can't find the cure, they'll..." Zeb trailed off.
"Die." Sabine amended. Rex patted Zeb in the back who hid his face. Sabine buried her face in hears arm and Hera latte she bracken, crying.
Kanan looked down at Ezra. Ezra looked at him with pleading eyes and blinked, looking down. "Please...hurry. Ezra's getting worse." Kanan pleaded Ashoka. Ahsoka nodded and the hologram disappeared.
Kanan felt Ezra a body go limo and looked down to see his Padawan asleep.
"He just woke up!" Sabine joked, wiping her tears away. "He's gone through a lot." Kanan replied, pulling Ezra closer. He was like a son to Kanan. A treasure. And he wouldn't lose thus treasure.
Suddenly, the hologram flashed back to Ashoka. "Kanan....bad news.." Ashoka he tears streaming down her face. Ezra opened his eyes and bit and grumbled in annoyance.
"The last ingredient....there isn't any left in the galaxy..." Ashoka looked down, her shoulders rising and dropping as she cried. Sabine and Hera crumbed it the ground in a crying heap.
Zeb and Rex pulled together, hugging and patting evaluate hrs backs as they blinked away the tears in their eyes. "Kanan....i don't wanna....die..." Ezra rasped.
"You won't I promise." Kanan patted his back.
Suddenly, Ezra's eyes rolled into his head and he fell down onto Kanan's lap. "Ezra!" Kanan lifted him up and stared at his Padawan. "Not another vision..." Kanan whispered.
The hologram disappeared and Hera looked at them. "We'll go...now..." She walked out with the rest of the crew, all of them crying and sniffling.
"Erza...what are we gonna do with you..." Kanan whispered as he laid down, still holding Ezra. He closed his eyes and let the darkness enfold him.

Ezra jolted awake with a gasp of pain. He started twitching and shaking rapidly suddenly. "Kanan....Kanan!" Ear a rasped as he fell backwards back onto the bunk.
"Wha?" Kanan groggily mumbled. Then he saw his Padawan. Ezra was about to ask a question when he started shaking worse. His whole body trembled now.
"Hera!" Kanan called. Hera ran in with syringe in her hands. "Seizure?" She assumed with a glint of amusement. "Yep." Kanan held Ezra's twitching body in his arms.
"Kanan....what's go-...going on?" Ezra sputtered through twitching and shaking. "Shh....it'll all be over soon." He nodded at Hera who injected the syringe.
Eventually the shaking stopped and Ezra was asleep.
"Worst?" Kanan asked. "Worst." Hera agreed. "What are we gonna do? If he keeps having seizures, he won't be Abe to continue training. Worse, I might not finish his training because of this stupid disease!" Kanan kicked a stool that fell with a loud thud.
"Caleb Dume!" Hera snapped.
"Don't call me that...." Kanan grumbled. "You are gonna be alright! You will survive! Ezra will survive! Everything will be ok!" Hera grabbed his shoulders and stared him right in the eyes.
"If you say so..." Kanan shrugged. Hera rolled her eyes in amusement and walked out of the room. Kanan looked at his Padawan and coughed. "I can't believe we're going down like this..." Kanan sighed.
"Because of some disease."
Kanan chuckled softly to himself. He was talking to himself. Alone. Well, not alone. He had Ezra with him. "At least we'll be together when it happens..." A lone tear ran down Kanan's face.
"We won't die..." Ezra stirred. "We'll survive." He stated before closing his electric blue eyes. "I hope your right..." Kanan whispered.
"I hope your right."
