"Gotcha!"
Strong claws gripped Sable's chocolate brown fur on her back haunches and ruthlessly tore her flesh. She screeched in pain and tried desperately to get away.
Her attacker kept her pinned to the rocky ground, concealing the strange otter's identity. "You're going nowhere," growled the deep, gravelly voice of the male boar. He proceeded to yank her under his larger body and roughly flipped her around.
A gasp left the sow's lips as she was turned to face him. The otter holding her captive had a scar from the base of his small right ear, through the center of his eye, and ending halfway passed his cheek. A smaller, less gruesome one laid across the bridge of his muzzle.
"Pretty, ain't it? Got it from a land cat last season," the boar boasted proudly. He licked a canine as he stared at Sable. "It caught me by surprise and left me blind and nearly dead from blood loss. A healer found me so here I am, alive."
Sable could only tightly nod in response, she was terrified. His one eye bore into her as he gave her a wide, snarling smile. The boar's next words turned her blood to ice. "Too bad the same couldn't be said about you..." Razor sharp teeth aiming for her throat was the last thing she saw.
