WindClan and RiverClan's border was quiet. Nothing seemed to disturb the cold, evening leaf-bare air except for the wind and prey. Yet, ten WindClan cats crouched facing the RiverClan border, ready to spring at their leader's signal.

   "We will show RiverClan that they cannot steal from us! Are you ready to fight?!" a gray tom with two dark paws spoke to his warriors in a encouraging whisper.

"Are you sure we brought enough cats, Emberstar? RiverClan has their whole clan!" spoke up a young she-cat with an odd white mark on her forehead.

"If we get low, you can run back to WindClan and get more cats!" spat Emberstar, annoyed. The she-cat looked slightly nervous. The leader gave one more encouraging smile, and the ten sprinted into rival territory.
