Alazae

I woke up to the sun shining bright through the window in my room, it was 9:07 in the morning. I am the opposite of a morning person and I really regret not closing the curtains last night. Today is Christmas Eve and RJ and his family are coming over. I hope this weekend goes well because I'm not ready for any drama.

I checked my phone and I had a few text message from some friends but two from Isaiah.

Isaiah💖: I had a great time tonight Zae when can we link again?

Isaiah💖: Good morning gorgeous I know your not awake rn I wouldn't be either but family comes first.

I quickly replied before I went into the bathroom. After I finished taking care of my business, I brushed my teeth. I realized that I didn't tie my hair up last night, so I had to brush through it with my brush and some hair products. The struggles of natural hair. I tied it up in a silk scarf, and grabbed one of my many bonnets from the drawer.

I was about to go downstairs when I realized I was only in short shorts and a loose crop top I grabbed my robe and my house slippers and threw them on before I went downstairs. When I got downstairs Grams was talking to Ms.Kim in the kitchen.

"Good morning Grams, good morning Mama." I said to them. Ma.Kim is a mother figure to me do I call her Mama. They replied and I went straight to the pantry to look for some food.

I was sipping on hot chocolate when I realized if Ms.Kim is here so is RJ and Maya. I went upstairs to check on Zari. When I opened the door she was asleep peacefully in her bed, and on the other bed, Maya was asleep peacefully.

When I was walking downstairs the door bell rung, so I opened it myself. There stood RJ and another girl from our school. I think her name was Sharon or something.

"Morning Zae, this is my girlfriend Shaniya, Shaniya this is Alazae" RJ spoke. "Morning RJ, Morning Shanaya" I said giving them the fakest smile I could muster up. " It's Shaniya and Good Morning" she said smiling and all peppy. Shaniqua is a cheerleader at our school and I can't stand the ones at our school, they're always so peppy and happy. Frankly speaking it gets annoying.

I returned to my room and decided to take a shower since I didn't want Shanéya to catch me slipping.

I did my whole hygiene routine and I decided to stay comfortable today. I wore some grey joggers and a white longsleeved shirt that said Mob Leader on the back with the number 1 printed below it. I decided to wear my black ugg boots and a black Nike headband. I simply packed my hair into a loose ponytail.

I went into the Zari's room only to see the girls watching tv dressed in the black Nike tee shirts I bought them, with the matching KD's I bought them as well.

When I got downstairs, I went to the living room in search of Grams, instead I found RJ and Shakiya making out and basically dry fucking on my couch. They didn't even have respect for my Granny's home. I figured the adults weren't home so I just stood there. The thing that ticked me off the most was that they didn't even acknowledge my presence. I finally decided to speak up.

"Ayee can y'all take that shit outside, this is my Granny's house not your fuckin hotel room, you didn't even have the decency to get a damn bedroom, y'all are dry fuckin in my Granny's living room, with kids who could come down at any time and see this shit. I said shaking my head. They looked at me like a deer caught at headlights. "Whatever C'mon daddy" Shanny said "daddy?" I repeated. "Yes Daddy, you wouldn't understand, not like yours ever wanted you anyway" RJ spoke and Shaquan laughed. I looked at him in disbelief. This was foul and low even for RJ.

"RJ get the fuck out of my house right fucking now" I said calmly as I held back tears. "Get Out" I screamed he left and immediately he did I locked the door and went to Zari's room still holding back tears,"Stay put girls and knock on my door if you need anything, don't open the house door because Granny has a key" I said they nodded and I ran to my room and collapsed on my bed crying.

RJ knows that the issue with my parents was a touchy topic for me and he was wrong for saying that. I can never forgive him. He took it too far this time. Before my mom left she always taught me to forgive people, even if we didn't live a perfect life. She told me forgiveness is the first step in happiness. I cried my eyes out for a good thirty minutes. I finally got up washed my face and touched it up with makeup to make me look less sad. I don't normally wear makeup because of the stress to put it on and all of that.

When I got downstairs Grams, Ms.Kim and the girls were watching a movie while RJ was texting whoever. I walked in and greeted everyone with a simple " "Hey" before going to the kitchen, I had gotten my mason jar from the cabinet, and was getting some ice from the dispenser on the fridge when I heard RJ's voice.

"Hey Zae we need to talk." He said stuffing his hands in his pockets. I simply just side eyed him and went into the pantry to get a bottle lemonade. "I'm guessing you don't want to" he spoke again. I simply just ignored him as I poured the lemonade in the jar of ice as I sat down on the stool in front of the island.

"Look I'm sorry, I said some foul shit back there, I didn't mean to hurt you like that Zae, I know your past was rough and is a touchy topic for you" I said to Alazae. It pains me enough that I hurt her by cheating, she was nice enough to forgive me, but now I think I've crossed the line. After I said that I saw tears form in her eyes immediately, to make things worse Shaniya was recording on her Snapchat on the low. If Alazae finds out she's going to raise hell.

There's a party coming up and I know she's going, things are going to get bad real fast. I looked back at her and she was still drinking her lemonade but she was looking at me directly in the eyes. We stared at each other for what seemed like forever until she got a text and her phone buzzed. I saw Leila's name light up the screen before she could read the text. Leila was calling her.

"Hello........ Wait slow down Leila..... You got a what........A video of me who and who............okay wait I'll watch the video and call you back.......Bye b"

My heart was racing as she unlocked her phone, as soon as the video started playing i heard what I said to Alazae fill the kitchen. She looked up at me with tears in her eyes. "Did you know about this" she asked with a shakey voice. I started rubbing the back of my neck before I looked down. "So you did and why didn't you stop her" she asked. I didn't actually know Shaniya had recorded it until I checked my story and by then it was too late. I couldn't reply, I could barely look at her. "I've never said I hate you to someone but that all changes today" she said with a low voice. I really didn't want her to say those three words."Zae please don't say it" I said trying my best to look at her."I didn't mean for th-" she cut me off I could see rage in her eyes. "NO! I hate you RJ don't you ever come near me again" she said before grabbing her lemonade and walking out the front door.

Right then and there my heart fell to the floor and shattered into a billion pieces, the one I love hates me. Honestly Shaniya was just a distraction, what am I going to do now?

D R A M A, I've been having serious writers block lately but I tried to muster something up for you guys. I hope this wasn't boring loves
