You smiled through the pain in your gut. "Oh, I'm doing alright.."

Nico frowned. "Your face says otherwise."

Now it was your turn to frown. "What are you talking about?"

Nico snorted. "You're obviously in pain, (n/n). Who hurt you?" His eyes suddenly snapped with anger.

You tried to hold back a smile at his cute reactions. "No one, Neeks. I'm fine, really."

The son of Hades squinted skeptically at you. "Fine. But if I ever hear about someone hurting you, I swear to the gods I will-"

You laughed, cutting him off. "Everything's fine, di Angelo, there's nothing to worry abo-" you stopped abruptly. You felt something warm and wet go through your shorts and down your leg.

Oh centaur poop, you thought, mentally facepalming.
You looked down to see a trickle of bright red blood trace your inner thigh.

Nico's eyes widened with terror. "See?! I told you you were hurt!!" he screeched.

"No! No, Nico this isn't what it looks like!" you try, but he simply won't have it.

"I swear I will send whoever did this to you to Tartarus for eternity!!" he yelled quite loudly.

The blood made its way down to your knee.
"Nico, please just listen to m-"

"WHO HURT YOU, (y/n)?! WHO?!?!"

You rolled your eyes and raised your voice at him.
"Nico I'm on my period!!! That's why I was bleeding!!"

Nico's eyes widened, then he cringed dramatically. "EEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!" He ran off to his cabin screaming about how nasty girls were and other nonsense.

You smirked and shook your head. "Welp, time to take a shower."
