Lightfeather opened her eyes. Padding through a bush, she heard a noise.

Looking back, she stepped back, shocked. It was Petalflower.

Rustle.

Petalflower looked at her, than jumped onto Lightfeather.

"Petalflower! Stop!" a tom called.

Petalflower whirled around, her gaze scanning the dark trees that loomed ahead. Finally, she spotted the cat. Relief spread through Lightfeather-she wasn't looking at her anymore.

"Snakefang!" she purred.

"Petalflower!" greeted Snakefang.

She stared at them.

Petalflower rested her tail on Snakefang as Snakefang nuzzled her.

"I didn't know StarClan looked like this!" Petalflower commented.

Of course this isn't StarClan. What, is she mouse-brained? Lightfeather wondered.

Snakefang's shoulders stiffened, explaining, "This is the Dark Forest. And Lightfeather's here too, we have to unite with her, I guess. To get vengeance."

"As in where the wronged cats, vengeful and power-hungry, battle-hungry and ambitious in a bad way, cats go to?" Petalflower queried, "Uniting with Lightfeather? Fine. We're on the same side now, so whatever."

Snakefang nodded.

Lightfeather stared at Petalflower warily, then nodded. With them, even her murderer, her wrath would finally be unleashed to its never ending limits.
