More than half of the students were already sleeping by the time the bus drove into Ondo state. It was already past 10pm already so one couldn't really blame them.

Nathaniel had Semiloore's head on his laps. She was asleep and was breathing really slowly. He noticed that quickly and attributed it to her asthma.

People who had asthma always either breathe very heavily or very slowly while sleeping. By 10:50pm, the bus had started dropping students and most students had their dads' come inside the bus to carry them while their dad's moms siblings carry the luggage.

The bus stopped in front of Semiloore's house and since he was always the last person they picked,she was the last in the bus except that she still had her head in Nath's laps. The driver horned and the gates soon opened after.

Mr Williams got down and dropped the big warmer Mrs Ajayi had used to give them food and Tamiloore hurriedly carried it inside dragging Semiloore's box with her.

"Sorry for the trouble sir" Mrs Ajayi said.

"Its okay ma'am" Mr Williams quickly replied.

Nathaniel shook Semiloore slowly "Hey wake up, we are home" Nathaniel said.

"Home?" Semiloore asked sleepily.

"Yes" Nathaniel replied.

"I want to sleep" Semiloore whined as she clung unto Nathaniel's neck.

"Jeez...that's a steel grip you've got babe" Nathaniel said wincing a little.

Semiloore didn't even bother replying as he carried her out of the bus giving her mom a curtsive nod.

Mrs Ajayi saw a very handsome guy carry Semiloore in his arms while Semiloore clung unto his neck like her life depended on it.

She smiled a little as she noticed they were wearing matching pull overs. It was Nathaniel first time in Semiloore's house. It was nothing as huge as his but the small compound was neat and beautiful.

Even in the dark,he could make out flowers arranged in a row. Tamiloore gave him an appreciative smile as she opened the door to Semiloore's room.

He walked inside and dropped Semiloore on the bed but Semiloore didn't release her steel grip on his neck. Nathaniel winced immediately which made Tamiloore laugh.

"This girl is nuts..." She said.

Nathaniel groaned "Semiloore abeg nah,I need to go home"

The latter didn't even budge. "Jesus Christ,this girl is going to break my cervical" Nathaniel said.

Tamiloore burst into laughter again as she tried to forcefully pry Semiloore's hands from his neck but instead the grip got tightened.

"Ha,ha,ha.....don't,that's enough" Nathaniel said while Tamiloore covered her mouth to avoid her laughter from waking Semiloore up.

"Its so noisy" Semiloore murmured from her sleep.

Nathaniel chuckled "Do you know you are about to strangle me right now?" He asked and Semiloore opened an eye slowly before opening the other.

She quickly let go noticing how she was clinging unto him.

"Why am I holding you like that?" She asked.

Nathaniel scoffed as he straightened up "I thought so" he replied as he walked out of the room and gave a curtsive bow to Mrs Ajayi.

"You are Nathaniel right?" She asked.

Nath wore a surprised look "Yes ma"

Mrs Ajayi touched his shoulder "Thank you"

Nobody even bothered to go and check on Semiloore the next morning. Since it was Saturday,Tamiloore and her mom had woken up and done their prayers.

They had done the house chores,washed plates and even when Tamiloore walked into Semiloore's room to drag her box out and pack her clothes out to wash when she hadn't woken up.

"I'll be going to work now" Mrs Ajayi said.

"Bye mom" Tamiloore said as her mom walked out and soon she heard the Lexus jeep roar to life and the gates been opened and closed.

Tamiloore sat down in front of the TV watching Zee World when Semiloore staggered out of her room.

"Morning" she drawled out.

"Afternoon" Tamiloore replied cheekily.

"Afternoon? What's the time?" Semiloore asked.

"1:45" Tamiloore replied and the sleep in Semiloore eyes cleared instantly.

"Huh? I woke up that late?" Semiloore asked.

Tamiloore burst into laughter as she narrated the previous day events to her. Semiloore turned tomato shade.

"I didn't know,I was asleep" Semiloore said trying to defend her actions.

"Of course" Tamiloore said laughing.

Semiloore sat down on the couch as Tamiloore's phone ringtone rang through the house.

My castle crumbled overnight
I brought a knife to a gunfight
They took the crown but its alright.

Tamiloore was a big fan of Taylor Swift so one of her songs being her ringtone wasn't a surprise. Tamiloore reached for her iPhone as a smile crossed her lips as she picked it.

"Snr Akin" Tamiloore greeted.

"Hey babe,what's up?" Akin asked.

"I'm good,what about you?" Tamiloore replied.

"Cool too. Eaten?" Akin asked.

"Not yet" Tamiloore replied.

"Why?" Akin asked his voice laced with concern. Semiloore raised her eyebrow at the voice.

When Tamiloore had told her that she and Snr Akin were really good friends now,she had thought maybe he acknowledged her since he never acknowledged anyone.

She never realized that it had reached that extent. They kept talking and Tamiloore had started walking around the sitting room.

"Haa" Semiloore said before walking back to her room. She pulled off her clothes and wrapped her towel around her and went to bath. She changed to a tan top and bum shorts as she stepped into the sitting room.

"You guys are still talking?" Semiloore asked.

"Your food is in the kitchen" Tamiloore mouthed.

Tamiloore whispered and Semiloore nodded as she walked into the kitchen and served herself. She put on her data and checked through her messages while she ate. She noticed Rolake had sent all the pictures she had taken to the group and so also Nath.

He had sent at least two personal edited pictures of everyone in the class and lots of group pictures,unaware pictures, videos and lots more and the pictures were so cute. She quickly posted a few and people had reacted to it.

She glanced at her plate when she realized that she had finished her food and walked to the kitchen to wash her plates. 

She clapped her hands when she saw Tamiloore sitting upside down,her legs up in the air still on the phone.

"Olorun be su wi" (means God spanks Satan) Semiloore exclaimed as she walked up to the still smiling girl and snatched the phone from her. She pressed the phone to her ear.

"Snr Akin please I need to talk to my sister" Semiloore said.

"You are back?" He asked.

"Of course"

"Ohh,I'll call her back then" Akin said.

"Thank you" Semiloore said and hung up.

"Han han"

Semiloore glared at her sister "Sit down"

"What!? Okay I know what you are thinking but I really do like Snr Akin and he's been really nice to me. He's caring and funny,he takes notice of the smallest of things that no one else except you and mom takes notice of" Tamiloore replied.

"What about Theo?" Semiloore asked.

Tamiloore laughed heartily "You could say I got attracted at first but now we are friends,good friends please"

"So he likes you back?" Semiloore asked.

"He hasn't confirmed it yet but he acts like that. Even though we see each other everyday at school he calls at night and we talk for hours or chat. I'm sure he likes me back" Tamiloore replied with a grin.

"Okay" Semiloore said nodding.

"What about you?" Tamiloore asked.

Semiloore leaned her back on the chair "What can I say? In summary we kissed"

"What!?" Tamiloore screamed as she ran around the room in circles.

"Awey stop doing right about turn and left about turn" Semiloore said.

"Oh my freaking lord! How was it? Was it good?" Tamiloore asked.

"Seriously Tam?"

"Who kissed first by the way?" Tamiloore asked.

"The both of us"

"Huh?"

"We kissed each other"

"That's so romantic" Tamiloore cooed before she started squealing.

"Stop squealing okay? My case is quite different from yours? I don't know if he likes me or not" Semiloore said.

"Why? He does? He kissed you" Tamiloore retorted.

"It doesn't matter!"

"This is Nath we are talking about here,he would never just kiss anyone,anyone" Tamiloore replied dropping emphasis on the last word.

"Nathan got really close to our classmates these past week and am sure he's going to be more open to them now" Semiloore said softly.

"That's nice"

"I know"

"I sang" Semiloore said looking outside.

"Huh? You....sang?" Tamiloore asked stuttering.

Semiloore turned her face else where as she smiled "Yeah I did"

Tamiloore engulfed her in a hug. "Nothing happened right?" She asked.

"Nothing"

"We have somewhere to go to during Christmas okay so we wake up early and travel" Semiloore said.

"Travel?" Tamiloore asked.

"I met a lot of kids who i liked a lot. They seem to need help. I promised them I was going to come back during Christmas" Semiloore replied.

"Ohh"

"Yeah"

"Hey do you really think Nath likes me?"
