The students were energized as they saw the bold inscription OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY ILE IFE.

"Finally" someone breathed.

The song changed to Justin Bieber "Drummer Boy" and since it was quite a popular song everyone was singing attracting the university students attention as they drove through the school.

The bus pulled at the a car park as Semiloore quickly paused the music as Mr Williams asked a girl,Jola to pray.

"Our eternal rock of ages,we are grateful for granting us journey mercies.... "

The class teacher of other buses got down and walked towards their bus while Mr Williams got down.

"The students should eat first right?"

"Let's see the situation first"

A middle aged man walked towards the teachers with smiles.

"Welcome" he said.

"Thank you Professor Alan" Mr Williams said.

"You came quite early,its barely 11am" Prof Alan said.

"We took off early"

"Ohh we thought that you might not get you till around 12,Professor Joseph has a lecture now"

"Okay,the students hadn't had anything so we'll take them to eat to wile away time" Mr Williams said.

"No need,I'll just you order, there are how many students?" He asked.

"105"

"Just science students?"

"Yes"

"Whoa! I'll get it now,let them get out to take them out to get some fresh air"

"Thank you sir"

"You guys c'mon out"

The doors opened and the students trooper out attracting attention. Their uniform was naturally very eye catching and bright.

The bus didn't turn off the music as the students some was still singing softly. X class sat down as someone served the food while others classes looked on with jealousy.

"Semiloore's mom is so cool" someone from O class said aloud.

"The food is pretty much,you guys can join"

Some of Semiloore's friends came and ate part,F class was put in the most awkward position as they could only look on awkwardly.

"Why do I feel like there is tension between F class and the others classes"

"Of course"

"What do you expect?"

"They still feel ashamed at least"

The students soon finished eating and started looking around. The driver of X class bus increased the volume of the music and the music was loud enough for all the students as they waited.

The music changed to Naira Marley "Opotoyi". Instantly the students were geared up as some of stood up and started dancing while the rest sang.
Oxford had always been getting beaten at dancing competitions not because they weren't good but because there were better dancer than them.

So of course they attracted attention of the following university students who were either going for their lectures or those who were returning from.

"A shey opotoyi,  asho le fi bo" the students sang as others danced.

"Which station is this?"

"Station keh?"

"Its Semiloore's phone"

"Whoa! Her music list is madd oo"

Semiloore sat beside Joshua and the rest. She didn't sing or dance,she just nodded her head.

"Try dancing nahh" Joshua cajoled her while Semiloore laughed.

"Nah,you guys won't be able to take it" Semiloore said and the boys burst into laughter.

"Seriously" Semiloore said with sincerity but no one noticed her sincere eyes.

The music changed to Fifth Harmony "Work From Home".  Although a foreign song,the students were very familiar with the foreign songs so this was not a new to me. Some sang along while some just nodded along.

Soon a man in blue suit was walking up to them

"Whoa! For this man's age, he's quite handsome" Semiloore said earning laughs from everyone while Nathaniel just shook his head;she so back to being her cocky annoying self.

"Hello students" the man said as the students hurriedly stood up.

"Hello sir" they chorused.

The man wore a small smile as the students stood up. The smile lit his face up and the students couldn't but help gape. This man was handsome but Semiloore's face turned soft as soon as she saw the man's face.

"I am Professor Joseph by name. I am a Professor of Medicine and Surgery and I'll take you on your tour today. Hope you guys are excited  for the tour?"

"Yes sir!"

"Your pens and notes ready?" He asked.

"Yes sir"

"Let's go"

The students carried their small bags and followed him slowly talking. A quiet smile wore its way to Semiloore's lips as she walked behind the man with others. Nathaniel was the first to notice her expression as he nudged Joshua.

"Hey why that look? Didn't you say he was handsome?" Joshua asked.

"He really is,isn't it?" Semiloore asked.

Joshua was puzzled by her question and nodded.
"You okay?" He asked.

"Sure" Semiloore replied.

They stepped into a room and as they were given coats and nose masks to wear.

"This is so cool"

"I know right"

Professor Joseph started talking everyone was enthralled listening to him talk. He talked slowly but at the same time emphasising on his words. The students jotted consistently.

"Aren't you jotting?" Joshua asked.

"I'm recording" Semiloore replied,she wanted to listen to it later and maybe over and over again and over again.

"Recording?" John asked.

"Hmmm" Semiloore replied.

"Okay"

He continued talking about the organisms in small containers and soon they were leaving the lab for another lab. They dropped the coats and nose masks as they walked out.

"You guys form groups,there is currently a lecture going on in the next lab so we can only enter the lab in twenty's,got it?"

"Sure sir"

The students quickly arranged themselves. And surprisingly after grouping themselves there were five people remaining. Nathaniel, Semiloore, Joshua, John and Christian.

"We are going last?" Semiloore asked.

"Yeah,that's exclusive treatment" Joshua said happily.

Semiloore swallowed her saliva and this action did not go unnoticed by Nathaniel and Christian who exchanged concerned looks.

It soon got to their turn and when they entered the lab they attracted attention to themselves immediately, Nathaniel mostly;he was more hotter as he walked into the lab with a poker face.

Christian too,he was light in complexion and he quietly laughed as Nathaniel's poker face.
Professor Joseph continued talking as soon as they reached the table even without bothering to glance at them.

"You guys are five?" He asked as soon as he raised his head.

"Last five" Joshua replied.

"Okay" he said with a small smile then peered at Semiloore who was hiding her face.

"Pretty miss? Are you shy? Why are you hiding your face?" He asked.

"Shy?" Joshua started with a short laugh "She's nothing but shy,she's very bold and either she said you were handsome for your age" Joshua said.

Professor Joseph looked taken aback as he smiled "Miss?" Prof Joseph said with a small smile.

"Her name is Semiloore" Joshua supplied with a grin not seeing Nathaniel's frowning face.

"Semiloore?" Professor Joseph called out softly.

Semiloore gathered all the courage left in her and raised her head. Professor Joseph smile froze on his face as he stared at the girl in front of him as memories came washing back.

"Semmm...iloore" he stuttered as the others watched in shock.

"Hi Joe" Semiloore said with a faint smile. Professor Joseph collected himself after a while.

"How are you?" He asked slowly.

"As you can see,am good" Semiloore replied.

"You don't sound good" Joe said.

"I can't really hide anything from you can I? But I tell you the truth,these days I've really been good,I've had really nice friends and a new nice school. These guys are my friends and they are really nice to me" Semiloore said.

Professor Joseph nodded "Tam?" He asked.

"School,this excursion is reserved for science students exclusively" Semiloore replied.

"I see" Professor Joseph seem to hesitate for a while before he asked "How's Joyce?" He asked.

"Why don't you try calling her and asking yourself?" Semiloore asked in reply.

"I can't" Professor Joseph replied.

"Why?" Semiloore asked.

"I don't have the courage to" Prof Joseph replied dropping his head.

"Joe...you.... " Semiloore started swallowing the invisible lump in her throat "Love her right?" Semiloore asked.

"Can we talk alone?" Joe asked quietly.

Nathaniel and the boys walked towards other students in silence.

"Where's Semiloore?" Maria asked.

"Joshua told him Semiloore said he looked handsome so they are talking although she's actually asking questions" John replied and Christian glanced at him and his well made lie.

"That girl ehn"

"She get mind nah"

Nathaniel pinched the space between his brows as he sat down. He remembered Tamiloore's words and chuckled,they hadn't even reached Lagos yet and she had started having problems. What kind of past did these two have? Another question crossed his mind as he picked his coke and drained it.
