Darkness surrounds me.

I have no vision.

There is a small light within me.

It was there when the darkness crept in.

It was always there for me.

I didn't know it then, but I was destined to become a creature of light.

The darkness took control.

We thought it was all over.

Then I saw it.

The beautiful light within me.

Shining so dimly.

A sliver of hope that was found in me.

A chance in the shadow of the evil I saw before me.

It was then I was saved.
