Preston's pov:
I was walking around with the girl Lachlan met, she was really nice and she was insanely energetic, always happy and seemed like she has been my friend for years. she grabbed on my shirt which made me stop, "Preston you might wanna look where you're going" she said, "there's a wall there" she added. I looked in front of me and saw a wall, "oh um..... whoops" I smiled feeling embarrassed. She smiled back, not seeming to mind, "c'mon friend, let's go and find some of your friends" she said about to run off but I grabbed her shirt, I was confused "friend? Did you just call me friend?" I asked. its not like someone to just meet you and call you friends, she smiled politely "of course!" She said energetically, "I always call people friend, even if they don't like me" she said smiling and walking off in one direction, I smiled 'she seems like a cool girl' I thought. "c'mon Preston, I don't want you to run into a wall, or worse, a person" she said, I laughed and followed her.

She was so happy it seemed, like she had enough energy to last a whole decade, as we walked, she saw many YouTubers she knew, like stampylongnose, IBallisticSquid, and many others that I can't name. It's not that I don't know them I just forgot their names. She was smiling the whole time, but it seemed like she had something on her mind, something stopping her from being happier, I don't know why. I walked next to her as she was looking at the minecraft things around the place, "hey Maria?" I asked looking at her. She looked at me "yeah Preston?" She asked looking at some of the minecraft trees they made. "Is there something on you're mind?" I asked, I didn't know why I asked but...... Yolo. She smiled and looked at me "yes of course" she said looking at a half built structure, seeming to lose her smile and go into thought. I wasn't sure if she was ok or not, I saw a tear go down her face, what was she thinking about? "Maria..... You can tell me....." I said reassuring her, smiling. She looked down, "coming here isn't as fun as I wanted it to be" she said as her tears became more heavy, she then shook her head and smiled "but it's still fun!" She said happily with a smile which looked fake, before I could say anything more two fans came up to us, smiling at both of us "PRESTON! CAN YOU SIGN THIS FOR ME!" Said one cheerfully, handing me a piece of paper, I smiled and signed it, "there you go" I said happily, "WOW THANKS!" Said the one taking the paper back and showing his friend, his friend looked at Maria "aren't you Penguin?" He asked, squinting his eyes, looking at her head to toe. She seemed surprised "yeah... I'm Penguin" she said looking at the kid, the kids eyes widened "SERIOUSLY!? THATS AWESOME!!! My friends like your art and your animated skits!" He said happily. Maria smiled a little "well thank you" she said smiling. "Where's EDragonKing?" The other asked. Maria's face lost all color, it had become blank, "uhhhhhh...... I would answer that but I..... Hear Lachlan calling my name! Bye!" She said quickly running away, passed many people and heading towards a bathrooms. The kids looked at one another, they shrugged "we'll see her again soon" said one to the other as they walked away. 'What was with Maria?' I thought as I looked towards where she ran. I started to walk towards where Maria ran 'what were those kids saying? Her name isn't Penguin' I thought, as I walked, 'and when they said the name EDragonKing.... She bolted' as I got to the bathrooms I knocked on the door, "Maria?" I said, no answer, "you can trust me" I said.

Maria's pov:
Why did this have to happen, I mean, I promised myself on the plane I would not cry about him here.... Why couldn't I have bought two tickets.... "Maria?" I hear a familiar voice out the door, it was Preston, I couldn't say anything, I didn't want him to know... It sounds like I have depression, well I do but not at minecon, that's the worst idea ever! "You can trust me" he said in kind words. I wanted to stop crying, I wanted my best friend here, to have fun with me, to meet the pack with me...... Wait.... The pack! I forgot I met them, I only thought that they were my friends! Very nice dudes! But I forgot they are the pack... Holy cow! I didn't know how happy I was about that! I looked at the door, I washed my face, making it look like nothing happened. I open the door and walk out, there's no Preston here.... I looked around, to see him talking to two other dudes, I walked up to him "hey Preston" I said smiling, he smiled back. "I see you're ok" Preston said happily as the two dudes he was talking to smiled. It was a short silence, then I broke the silence "who are these two?" I asked trying not to sound mean nor rude, Preston smiled "these are Mitch and Jerome" he said. The two smiled, my mouth opened wide "you.... OH MY GOSH!" I yelled but I covered my mouth, "whoops... Sorry... Sudden fan girl moment" I laughed a bit, Mitch smiled "it's fine" he said. Jerome just had a cheesy smile, he then looked at Preston "how did you meet this girl" he asked. "Lachlan actually met her in the elevator of our hotel" Preston said smiling. I heard someone call my name then "PENGUIN?!" I heard the girl yell, I turned around to see her and her friend run up to me, "OMG you're penguin insanity!" She squealed, I smiled and nodded, "yep that's me" I said happily, I looked at Preston, Mitch and Jerome which had confused expressions on their faces, I smiled. "I have fan art for you" the younger one said happily, I kneeled down and she gave me a picture which looked like me and Lachlan.... Oh no.... "I drew this because I ship you with Lachlan" she said happily, "do you like it?" She asked, I had no words at this point, I just smiled "very nice, thanks friend" I said happily, the other one also walked up to me, "I also have fan art... But I don't ship you and Lachlan.... I ship you and Mitch" she said handing me a picture of me and Mitch, I could feel Mitch's eyebrow raise, I smiled "thank you" I said standing back up, "well my friends, catch you around" I smiled, they smiled wide and walked to their parents, I turned to see all the boys in confusion, I sighed "I'll..... explain later" I said putting the art in my hoodie pocket. They shrugged but Mitch still wanted to know what the heck just happened. I then started to head towards the door, it was getting late. I'm surprised I didn't see Vikk today, he said we would have been here, I then ran into someone and fell on the ground. I look up to see, guess who? Vikk. He offered his hand to me, to help me up, I took it. As I stood up I smiled "I was just thinking about you" I said happily. "Same" he said, he then saw Preston, Mitch and Jerome behind me, he smiled "I see you met my friends" he said. I nodded, I then looked towards the door "I better go, I need sleep for me to last through tomorrow's minecon" I said, he smiled "ok, see ya tomorrow then" he said, I smiled and walked past the four dudes "see ya friends" I said waving running out as they waved. They then began to chat amongst one another, as I left the building I ran back to my hotel and went up to my room, I open my door and go inside, closing the door behind me. I take the pictures out of my pocket but... Wait where's the one with me and Mitch?! Oh no... I felt every inch of my hoodie but I found nothing, "oh no! It must have fell out of my pocket! But when? I mean... The only time I could've lost it was... When I ran into Vikk! Oh no! Oh no!" I said starting to panic, "the ship fan art I never show people! And if someone sees it and sees that Mitch is in it, they'll give it to Mitch! NO NO NO!!" I yelled slightly falling down upon my bed, I started to punch a pillow, I then collapsed, "if Mitch sees that picture, he won't be my friend" I said, tears running down my cheeks, I laid facing the ceiling, I sighed "why were those ships made...." I whispered. I then went into my suit case and grabbed a red marker, I took off my shirt, so I only have a bra on, showing words in red marker saying "loser", "stupid", and "Failure" I then opened the marker and wrote something on my left shoulder, I wrote "idiot" on it. I closed the marker, and placed it on a small coffee table next to my bed, before I put my shirt back on I waited for the marker to dry. When it dried I put my shirt back on and fell asleep, "I hope Mitch doesn't see the picture" I whispered before I was full on asleep.
