Preston's pov:

"MARIA?!?!" I yelled as she ran off, I sigh, the security guard followed her and so did the two girls, they both smirked "she should've just stayed with me... She wouldn't be in this mess otherwise" I said, I then began to walk towards where they went.

I yelled her name a few times "Maria?! Whe-" I then see a penguin duct taped phone on the ground "that must be hers" I pick it up and look at it. it then begins to ring, it was a call from someone known as Lucas? I answer it, before I said anything the person spoke "hey Maria, I'm surprised you answered, anywho I'm sorry for yelling at you, I talked to your mom and she told me the whole story... Why didn't you tell me the ticket was a gift in the first place?" The voice said, I didn't say anything, I was thinking on what to say, I was also very confused at that point "look I know you probably don't wanna talk to me but please, at least tell me why you lied" the voice said, I sighed "I'm sorry Maria isn't here right now... She dropped her phone..." The person cut me off "then who is this I'm talking to?" The voice asked "I'm Preston, I'm a youtuber, and Maria's friend" I said, it was quiet at the other end of the phone "um... Hello?" I said, "n-no way... it can't be PrestonPlays, THE lava mob" he said, I smile "it sure is, but like I said, Maria isn't around at the moment, she got in a small fight... And now security is after her" I said. He chuckled "that sounds like her, but if you get the chance tell her I'm sorry... Or tell her to call me back... I need to clear things up between us..." He said, I looked confused "um.... What happened exactly?" I asked, "when you tell her that Lucas is sorry then she'll probably explain" he said, "it would probably be better coming from her... I angered her enough..." He added, "alright... Wait your name is Lucas?" I said "yeah, but most people know me as EDragonKing... I was one of Maria's best friends, until we got in a fight.... But we play Minecraft together and that's what they know me as" he said. EDragonKing? EDRAGONKING! That's what made Maria cry.... I understand now... "Ok I'll give her the message... Talk to you later Lucas, or EDragonKing" I said, "you too Preston" the phone hung up. I put the phone in my pocket, I sigh "so Maria plays Minecraft with that dude.... Well then...." I said to myself.

I begin to look around again "MARIA?!?!" I yell looking around. I finally see her, she looked a bit angry... And her hair was a mess. "Maria!" I yell running to her, she smiles a little "hey Preston" she says, I smile "I see you lost the security guards" I say, she smiles and chuckles a little "heh yeah" she says.

We begin to walk, she was looking down "are you ok?" I ask looking at her, "no.... Not really.... I'm trying to be happy but I can't.... Today has just been a living hell for me...." She says, I look down, then smile "hey, look on the bright side, at least you got to hang out with a few cool dudes" I say winking at her. She rolls her eyes playfully, "I wouldn't call them 'cool' " she states, I look at her like she offended me. "Hey!" I say as I laugh. She laughs with me. It was silent for a while, then I remember something "oh, here's your phone" I say taking it out of my pocket, "you dropped it while running" I hand it to her. She smiles "thanks Preston" she says. She unlocks it and sees that Lucas called "wait... this was a half hour ago... did you answer this?" She asks, I nod "yeah and-" she didn't let me finish my sentence and growled "Why'd you answer?! I don't want anything to do with him right now!" She yells, she scared me "Maria calm down.... he-" I started but she cuts me off again "he what?! Wanted me to forgive him cuz he was being selfish and only thought of himself?!" She yells as tears begin to roll down her face. I look at her extremely concerned and scared "Maria calm down it's not that at all, he was sorry" I say but she just threw her phone at me. "I don't want to know what he said... I just want to go home" she says walking away. I sigh and look at her phone, it was still unlocked and her wallpaper was a drawing of her and her friends. I then follow her as she looks down in tears, I felt bad but I couldn't do anything.
